This thread may be old, but it's SO informative. Damn I'd rate you 5 stars if i could.
I started 3 monotubs on the same day, so assumed I should have set them all in fruiting conditions on the same day too. Found out through doing so, that the one with many knots produced abundantly, while the other two with no real indication of being ready to start fruiting (Besides looking completely white) produced less than optimal on it's first flush. I'm now waiting on the 2nd flushes ^_^

Was this performed with ms, a clone, or an isolate?

Updated the contam section a bit in the OP. I'm sure there are more and great links on contams that I don't know about. If anyone has favorite, informative links with photos, LMK and I'll get them in the OP

Thanks for the bumps all. It's one of those threads that gets buried because there is no discussion, just a compilation of info.
I'm happy this is still helping folks out!

Interesting read. I have 2 66L tubs of PE. All jars from the same time period. Both spawned to CVG on 10/28.
The 4.5" depth sub has just launched out maybe 7 monster fruits and some pins coming up.
The other is 2.5" almost same amount of spawn and hasn't done jack. Been full colo for 10 days maybe.
Sitting right next to each other. MS so who knows... Or contam. Gave both a lot more FAE this weekend.
Hoping my new clone tubs rock!
Also going to clone and harvest the big cluster from 4.5"

Check out Lotkids PE tips if you haven't already. I've still to get a really nice PE pinset. Going to try his approach next time with a clone.
And I've noticed they do fruit better from thicker subs... more water, really.
Full col for 10 days is not all that long. PE is sloooowww

Thought the short sub was maybe too wet. Peat casing didn't dry up after 3 days w/ open lid. Just added around a cup at lunch.
The sides look very similar for rhizo growth. Some knots. It finally started creeping up the casing which is odd for pH up peat at full colo.
Last year's PE tubs were mostly in sync. Ah well, patience!
