Cats and psychic powers
    #22851920 - 02/01/16 07:08 PM (7 years, 11 months ago)

So this is a little strange, could be coincidence because i have been microdosing LSD for the past couple of weeks aswell.

Recently we have come to adopt a cat.
Long story short I have never owned one, and odd things and behaviors seem to surface while being around him.

An example that happened this morning. I was laying in bed next to him and as me and I think him were falling asleep, I remember at that point, perfectly visualizing a mist of a liquid, a very fine and dense mist being sprayed into the air rapidly, like an explosion.

Suddenly and instantly, the cat jumps meowing scared. As if he had seen what I just had projected.

Any cat owners that could give some insight would be cool  :acidcat:

Obviously more subtle things like that have happened in just two weeks that I have had contact with the cat which lead me to make this post.

I had a cat that was walking through my kitchen once. Suddenly it crouched down in fear on all fours and stared down the corridor, then took off out the front door.

I got up and looked down the corridor. There was nothing there.

I have wondered since then if maybe the cat could see an entity in a non-physical dimension that was in my hallway.

I had a slightly scary experience while tripping when I locked eyes with my cat. Hard to explain but I felt like she was some kind of conduit for some greater foreign intelligence.
Theres def a reason why cats were worshipped in ancient Egypt and are often depicted as witches' companions.

Ive had experiences like this as well with my 2 cats. I thought the same thing, basically wondering if they can see something we cant. I guess theres no way to know, but its cool to think about.

We think humans are the supreme beings on this planet, but we are not.

It's the cats.  Big ones, little house ones...they know things.

There is a frequency of awareness that I can tap into when I micro dosing which became instantly apparent as a realm where cats 'roam', which I named th 'Cat Band'.

The only way I can describe the feeling I have, is as though it's an empty street of a ghost town which carries stories in the wind.

I had sudden awareness that it is the same frequency where psychic information is available. It became clear to me why psychic gypsies and similar characters favour cats.

It became apparent that cats are half in our realms and half in the 'cat band'.

Most importantly it became obvious to me that a 'cat nap' is actually a cats meditation is which they submerge themselves fully into the 'cat band'.

Whilst in the cat band, I became aware of a friend of my mother who I've never met. I became aware (but didn't see) her ruby red leather furniture, her many brass ornaments around her fireplace (namely hanging horseshoes) and I felt an overbearing feeling of sadness which was combatted with copious amounts of red wine.  The only thing I knew about this woman was that she adored her cat.

A few weeks later my mother told me this woman has lost her cat and she was devastated. (Found two weeks late safe and well).

When I found the essence of Christ consciousness and was deeply 'under' in meditation, my then vicious cat, climb up on my lap (which she never did) and lay on her back (never done that again to this day) and closed her eyes with limbs outstretched.

I woke to see this sight after opening my eyes from the deepest experience of my life. I had drenched the whispy fur of the stomach of the most innocent looking creature I had ever seen with tears, lying in complete innocence in total peace and surrender. I felt my cat was a child of God without question and an equal projection of myself, synced perfectly in complete harmony.

It always makes me laugh too, because soon after I opened my eyes (whilst remaining seated in the same position) and the Christ mindedness began to fade, so did hers and I could see in her face that she had suddenly become aware and almost embarrassed that she had surrendered her wild self......and so, she relinquished her ego mind, jumped up onto all fours and nearly clawed my cheek off.

'Ah, duality', I noted.

I had a little black cat that adopted me as a kitten. I was in the bush one day and it appeared out of nowhere and climbed up my leg. My ridgeback was jumping up trying to get it but it didn't care.

As it grew up people used to say it had been here before. It always knew how to handle any situation with humans, dogs and cats.

When I would dose with mushrooms it would climb into my lap, then head to my face. It would get as close as possible to my mouth as if it wanted to breathe my breath. It seemed fixated on doing this when I was tripping. When I wasn't it showed no interest in this.

It was a funny cat. One Christmas I was given a lion statue made out of some rock. It was black and about a foot long. I unwrapped it and showed it to "Kitten"(not very imaginative when it comes to naming animals.) He looked at it then walked up to me crawled in my lap and then WACK he bashed me on the face with his paw.

He was just letting me know that there was only one black cat in my house.

Another cat story that comes to mind. Years after my black cat had died I had another cat that was very pregnant with about a week or so until it was due. It would be laying in the kitchen and I would see these grey ghost like images of cats appear in the air then go into her body.

The ghost cats would do this for about a minute one after the other from all directions. Some would disappear but most would go through her body then fly off up into the air again. It seemed to only happen at night.

The woman I was with one day said to me "I wish all those ghost cats would leave Maggie alone." I hadn't talked to her about it but it turned out she was seeing it too.

What do you think they were doing?  Were they like little cat souls looking for bodies to live in?  Do cats and other animals have souls? Maybe it was the kittens 9 lives?

Funny you should say that. That was the impression I had. The little cat spirits would hang up in the air then zip down on an angle into her body like about 45 degrees. Then nearly all of them would come out again straight away heading up into the air at 45 degrees. Then they would just vanish.

They looked smaller than the cat too. If I could put a measurement on them I'd say about 4 or 5 inches long. That's what made me think they were spirits coming along to inhabit the bodies of the kittens.

What got me is it was easy to see, like the spirits didn't look opaque or transparent. When they were there they looked to have solidity except they could float and fly through the air and disappear as well.

I never asked my woman friend to describe them to me. I never described them to her. It was a strained relationship. She was a spiritual healer with a big ego unfortunately. Almost as big as mine. If we described anything like that to one another it would end in an argument about who knows the most about what they are seeing.

Hey imagine if kittens did have multiple souls inhabiting their body? Anythings possible I guess.

I believe the 'ghost cat' phenomenon is a bit like what we do when going through the process of reincarnation as in the bardo thodol.

Fuck. Missing myself a cat. My womfiend has a black cat that behaves scarily similar to yours... Came running out of the high grass onto the backyard when she was a little abandoned kitten.

That little black cat I had used to get up to so much mischief. I lived in an Avenue with about 100 houses. I'd take my dogs for walks and "Kitten" would come along. Neighbours from everywhere in the street would see him and start telling me what he was doing.

So to try and calm him down when he was 6-7 months I decided to get him desexed. I'd arrange it with the vet then go looking for Kitten. No sign. It happened every time I was going to take him. The vet decided to show up one day but told me he was coming. Kitten just magically disappeared. His timing was like he was reading my mind.

I told the vet about that and he said he wouldn't tell me and just show up. Kitten was there that time. Bad luck for Kitten. They talk about cats being witches familiars. Kitten was sure familiar with my mind I have to say.

The vet told me to feed Kitten meaty bones so he could shear the meat off with his teeth. There was a black cocker spaniel looking dog from across the street that would try and pinch Kitten's bone. Next there'd be howling like it was being killed. It still kept coming in regardless of the pain to try and get that bone.

I started watching what was going on. The dog would show up with its nose to the ground and the cat would bolt to a hiding place. As soon as the dog had the bone the cat would jump on its back and ride that little dog.

I'd see similar things with bigger labrador sized dogs. The cat would show up and bait the dog with all these funny antics to get the dog to have a go. Next thing the cat would be hanging by its claws off the dogs ears.

One of my Ridgebacks used to pick kitten up by the head and run around with the body hanging down. Next he'd be howling. I'd look at his ears and there'd be bloody grooves on the inside of his ears. I really missed "Kitten" when he died of old age.

So what's the deal with black cats?  Why are they assumed to be bad luck, familiars of witches and generally up to no good?

I'm a big fan of these feared creatures.  There are two sleeping behind me right now, and there was a third who went missing many years ago, the night before Halloween.  There are many stories about black cats in particular.  What do you think?

I think all cat lovers would agree how intuitive cats can be. My black cat bonded closer to me than any other cat I have owned. I had a Ginger tom who was quite a character. He would home in when a session was under way. Sitting there having the smoke blown in his face.

I'm not sure why black cats get all the bad luck blame though. Maybe it's because they are black like a shadow. Creeping about. A creature of the night perhaps. Modern day Witches and Magicians seem to think highly of cats generally as a magical intuitive animal.

Sometimes I would dream about "Kitten" waking up to see him staring into my face. One of my worst dreams about him was after I had buried him. In my dream he dug himself out of the grave and started attacking me. Perhaps when they wrote that heap of crap called "the malleus maleficarium" Mathew Hopkins the Witch finder General had observed the close kinship cats have with their owners.

All that folklore comes from a time when greedy perverted women hating men wanted to exploit the populace for their own ends. From my poor memory one of the conditions for being a Witch was for someone to have dreamed about the Witch.

I know when I was tripping Kittens jet black fur would have greenish and purple hues. A bit off topic but a friends dingo cross would know if I had magic mushrooms in my pocket. He'd be at my pocket with his nose glued there. Kitten and him were the only animals I've met that seemed really tuned into mushrooms.

Cats certainly are intuitive. And their vision is quite a lot sharper than ours. When they are seemingly staring at "nothing" I think they are actually just watching a really small bug or something that is too small for us to easily see (like a spider mite or something like that. Not microscopic but really Damn small)

As for them spooking randomly. I think it's that cats just naturally spook easily at things they don't expect. Like random cucumbers and shit. It wouldn't surprise me of other smaller things might randomly spook them as well.

I do remember reading somewhere that cats are one of the species that doesn't have a proper concept of scale. Which means they don't quite have a proper respect for the size difference between them and larger creatures. And vice versa. (I've known cats who would take on dogs 10 times their size. But would go running from fairly small bugs if they got startled)

There may definitely be something to this. Cats seem to pop up around me in significant moments, from time to time, usually black cats.
