Solid theory and that's the vibe I got too but as long as they follow up on it that'll be satisfying . Also check out ricksty minutes in the episode when they first find the show "Ball Fondlers" Noop Noop is briefly flying a helicopter

I thought he was some sort of iteration of Mr. Poopy Butthole. I gotta rewatch the first interdimensional TV episode now! The second one in season 2 is even more hilarious I thought.

Yeah I love both of those episodes, If I could watch interdimensional cable all the time I'd be so happy.
Totally I thought when I first saw it that it was Mr. PoopyButtHole too and as soon as I saw Noop Noop I watched Rixty Minutes and was just like

episode was bomb, I like how even rick makes mistakes sometimes, like when he left his portal gun in the bathroom. If the most powerful being in the multiverse can still make a mistake here and there makes me feel less bad about not always doing everything perfect. The scene where the vindicator guy got cut in half and his body flys around room was funny. party at the end of the show was cool featuring "Logic".

The most recent episode wasn't my favorite honestly
But rixty minutes is one of my favorite episodes ever. "Nobody exists on purpose, nobody belongs anywhere, we're all going to die. Come watch some TV"

That newest episode was dark man. I was also peaking on LSD while watching it so it hit even harder.

I've enjoyed it thoroughly. Great show. Loved the pickle rick episode. "stop digging for hidden layers morty. I'm a pickle now"

Futurama is way more "wholesome" overall I would say.
Some of the humor is similar like Bender for example, he's like a toned down robot Rick.
But Futurama is pretty family friendly overall. They do both rely on clever humor and Sci fi concepts though

I would say they are totally different. Futurama is more... Simpsons plus Star Trek. Rick and Morty is more like a mix of Doctor Who, Back To The Future, and maybe Archer? Lumping sci-fi together doesn't make anymore sense than lumping all fiction together.

I fucking loved the PickleRick episode dearly. All I ever watch is animated comedy and this show is without a doubt the best of them all IMO.
Not sure how I feel about the latest episode yet. I'll report back when I've watched it another three times..
What's all y'all favourite episodes so far of the entire series?

I really love the simulation episode
The ending gets me every time.
"why don't you ask the smartest beings in the universe? Oh, you can't. They blew up."
Jerry yelling "are you hungry for apples" while he bangs his simulated wife is hilarious too

Yeah I was digging Krombopulus Michael in that episode.
I can't decide between the Intergalactic council of Ricks episode and 'The Ricks must be crazy' one..
