Some times I wonder if the show is subconsciously changing me. I've always been an alcoholic but now I have a wicked stutter.
Anyone else impressionable to a fault?

So I just started the show because everyone loves it. Watched the first few episodes of season 1. Does he really burp like that for the rest of the episodes? The burping every 5 seconds is super annoying to me and just doesn't really add any comedic value. I get it, heres drunk. Do they tone down the burping at all?

What ive noticed is each episode has a "repeating theme" like a phrase or sound effect.

Yea I think Rick and Morty might be peaking so far have been disappointed with season 3 its still enjoyable but the high bar set by the previous seasons will be tough to live up to. Hopefully things improve down the line.

S3Ep3 has already lived up to all the other eps imho, it's like it's saying to all the other eps past and future "there's a new Rick in town, pickle Rick!, and if u don't like me, blow me!"..
as much as it hurts to let it go, that's what the show ultimately wants us to do, to trust it, to not have any expectations of it or anything, to just watch it as is..

Yeah I agree this season has been great so far. Season one and two have a lot of great episodes but I think the new ones are pretty much just as good. Maybe even better in a way just not as instant classic perhaps.

I haven't been let down at all. It seems to have a slightly different flavour but not too much. Kinda like comparing Ride the Lightning to Master of Puppets. 
I'm feeling like with some of what's being presented that Rick might end up ditching another set of family when he fucks things up again. Or maybe Summer might go totally wacko. Either I'm hella looking forward to more Rick and Morty. It's one of those shows I'll actually buy the dvds/blurays of.

I suspect that Jerry is going to have a bigger role than the show lets on.
