You'll never be able to change the situation the more adult pins are in. Your adjustments should help the babies though so do keep us updated with pics I'd say on a bidaily basis (I have no clue if that's actually a word but I think you know what I mean )

Yea already replyed to this but I'll reply for this thread.
Yea I don't think I was misting the cakes often enough or well enough. So pulled that out and sprayed them with a fine mist till each glistened but didn't drip and had no puddling.
When I was originally misting I focused more on the walls than the cakes. And when I misted the cakes I misted up in the air and let it rain down on cakes so it probably wasnt even misting or enough water

KSSS

I'm not sure what is up... but I have AA+ tubs where the cultures performed as people have said the cultures should perform... kinda different than other cube mycelium... a little fluffy. Anyway, oen of the tubs I tossed after 20 days of not pins because I thought I saw contam. This tub is pinning but it doesn't look like AA+ to me. Is it possible that I had a culture that had two competing varietites or something, because some pins look leucistic while other obviously aren't What's UP??

Half are just CVG. Half are CVG with about 20% straw thrown in.
muy bueno , you put polly during colonization ? isn't duct tape safer and better at maintaining c02 in ?

Get good genetics, learn what they prefer, then give it to them. This one needs a casing or at least a top layer. It also has a few other preferences.

damn , ok i guess each strain is different , and even if you were growin mazatepecs like me , probably yours would like different thing than mine , so you basically have to monitor and run experiments with different subs , am i right ?
also , I'm growin from a cloned strain , and the petris were not preserved , i started over from spores ....but , what happens if i clone from one of this fruits? from like a big cluster ?
i remember being something bad , true?

I'm a daddy for the first time in over a decade!
I was worried this multi strain multispore syringe deal would lead to them not pinning evenly. Every cake has at least one or two and there's hyphal knots and primordia. Looks like rotating the inner cakes to the outsides and warming them up was a great idea.

So excited.
