If the contamination isn't that bad you can always salt the contaminated areas and hope it finishes this fruiting cycle without all of those pins aborting other than that toss it your just risking future contamination keeping it around

As a short temporary measure you can give it a very LIGHT mist of H2O2 in the infected area.  Personally, I'd either move that FC to another room, then give it an extremely thurough cleaning after harvesting, or take the tray outside and put it under a plant that'll conceal it.

I've noticed that usually when there is cobweb mold contamination, there is usually cobweb mold somewhere in the room, usually at the top of bookcases or up in the corners where the wall meets the ceiling.

This is true I used to have an old bookshelf I used to pull books off the top and find cobweb mold

How could I prevent this in the future? And if it does finish are they safe to consume?

1 Still Air Box, A PC, Proper Sterile Procedure ,

2. Assuming there's no mold on or around the fruits they should be fine

I'm no pro I'm still learning myself so take that with a grain of salt but I believe at least #1 is Accurate

Cobweb mold isn't toxic as far as I know.  Future prevention is easy, keep the room clean!

My first flush went pretty well. I have a feeling this occurred due to my harvesting method of just trying to carefully counter clockwise twist without gloves m My room at my other house has an air purifier.
