Smelly weed

I just bought a quarter of skunk. It's only just been picked and it's still quite wet/sticky.

The only problem is that I'm at uni and there's a strict 'no weed in halls' policy and if I get caught with it I'll be kicked off campus.
I put it on my radiator for like 5 minutes to see if the smell was noticable, and then asked my friend to walk into the room. His exact words were: 'Mate, that fucking stinks'.

So how the hell can I dry it without stinking the place out? Any ideas much appreciated!! :smile:

throw it in a drawer or wooden box.

put it in a cardboard box and duct tape it shut, punch a few holes.

stick the buds into an open jar with a home-made/real label and sit on your window sill

Dry it like you would mushrooms...just let it sit in a drawer or something for a few days,maybe with the drawer a little cracked and a fan blowing/cirulatiing air around the room,but not too much where it will be noticeable,peace and good luck

Zip-lock baggie and an airtight glass pot :smile:
This way will keep it fresh for a long time and preserve the original aroma (a couple of bags will do the same)  :biggrin:

This is a sure way to get some mold growing on your wet buds.
You could put it in a paper bag and open the bag once or twice a day so the stagnant air doesnt invite mold. The bag should pretty much absorb the excess moisture. Or you could search for the answer yourself at www.overgrow.com  :wink:

You're right, I've read with too much speed  :lipsrsealed: :eyemouth:
Then I'd go for drying salts keeping an eye on it saving some moisture :tongue2:

Oven or Microwave-weed tastes like flamed chicken wings mixed with straw :stoned:

Thanks a lot for all the suggestions guys. I've got a sort of novelty lockable safe, which ive put the baggie with the weed in insde. I've also put a sachet of silica in there to dry it faster. Will that damage the potency at all?

shouldnt hurt the potency too much, but drying too quickly will definetly take away flavor. keep a close eye on it
