alright...so my friend has this pf jar with a bunch of mycelium in it,but the mycelium is dead due to exposure to heat, if there aer no signs of contams is this mycelium safe to eat?

Eat it?!? Man you must be desperate... I had a friend once who was desperate, he took half of a fully colonized cake (guess who got the other half?) and soaked it in a cup of orange juice for about an hour, drank the OJ, and tripped his face off...

some say it works some say it don't.....if your gonna do it soak in cranberry juice or orange juice as was mentioned cause vermiculite is not good for you

the prevailling net wisdom is that cakes are usless for extraction untill AFTER it fruits! So save yourself some glittershits and grow the dang fruits.
