Too bad voting doesn't do much....If you want change you seriously have to start a movement, because things arnt changing too much with some election.

I know what you mean. I hate bush. I really don't see change for the good happening just by getting a democrat in. I think Dennis Kucinich would be good though. Politicians have a hard time sticking to their word, so you pretty much just voting some puppet in and after that it's all business. $$$$$$$ I think we need a new way of running things. Who knows what it could be or how it would work, it would take lots of time to do though. This world duerly is complicated.

This is true. But for now, all we have is "the system", and we have to work within it. But I do see a Democrat in the Whitehouse as infinitely better than its current resident.

I totally agree a democrat will be better than what the USA has now. Hopefully I will start to be more optamistic about the way things are heading.

So, you're saying we shouldn't even bother to vote, then? And Bush wins another term! The Republican party thanks you! (Edit: sorry if that seems a bit harsh, but I do feel strongly on this. You CAN still make a difference, you know! )

I watched this one really good like 15 minute report done by BBC about the election. They had all kinda of proof that Jeb payed companies off, and lots of other info showing how it was rigged. You'd never see that on CNN.

the only way not to vote for bush on an electronic voting machine is not to vote...diebold is FAIP a branch of the repooplican party...and the constitutional rights of diebold make it impossible to legally verify their systems...

I wouldn't doubt if they try and rig the next election. It's sad I actually think it's going to happen.

Incidentally, my vote in the State of Tennessee elections helped defeat a firmly entrenched Republican Administration (Don Sundquist) with a much better (IMHO) Democratic Administration. My vote was counted, and my voice was heard.
I think Phil Bredesen is doing a great job!

It's been discovered that rigging the voting is entirely possible, but I haven't see any proof uncovered that Bush did it in 2000 or he plans to do it this election. Do you have any links that support that claim?
Anyways, in a free society, shouldn't the electoral system be thoroughly monitored and scrutinized to make sure that- in no way, shape, or form- elections are being manipulated? Instead of spending countless hours analyzing Michael Jackson's entrance to a courthouse, a truly free media- of and for the people- would be investigating the centerpiece of our free society: free elections.

I wish I could show you this BBC report, they had tones of good evidence.

Well, okay...so if you really want to prove me wrong, you have to get registered to vote, and vote in the November elections. Then, if our votes aren't counted, you shall have my profuse apologies.

And some people have good evidence that the holocaust never happened. But then again that can't be true can it?

Wow..when I made the initial post, I never thought I'd encounter such resistance! It really saddens me to hear that people are so cynical that they don't even bother to vote. It becomes clear to me why Bush was elected and why the House and Senate are so dominated by his party. Nevertheless I WILL vote, and my conscious is clear.
