Can the substrate be stored in the fridge for later use?

Hi, I'm kind a new to this site I was just wondering, I'm leaving for a month and a half or so and got about 10 jars already spawned and ready to be put in a tray. Was wondering if I could refridgerated it to keep it hibernating for the mean time, is it possible? Thanks.

Yes, just make sure you store it sterile and that it does not dry out too much.

I've had no problems storing it in the fridge for over a month. Used some older p. ostreatus spawn from 3 months in the fridge and it was as vigorous as ever once it warmed back up.
