Not sure how to make a post for some reason.....

for sale I have an All American 75x steriliser. only been used a couple of times. it is as good as new. comes with 240 volt plug

this thing is a work of art and its a real shame to see it go. it can sterilise a lot of grain in a short amount of time. I wanted to keep it for life. but I am going travelling for a couple of years and need to pass it on to someone else.  they are a bastad to get imported into the uk. I think it came to at least £1000 with all the shipping costs and customs charges!

looking to sell it for £600 or nearest offer. who ever buys it will be a very happy owner I am sure.

Just got back from asda, and bought some of those tuna paste jars for 29p (silver lid) Thanks for the heads up  I cant say I would eat the contents though, but fluffy likes it lol. I like the lid on these, it has a good seal, most of the other lids snap back open if you tighten too hard. The baby food jars have a good lid on them, are shallower and have a wider base, probably better for agar work, or medium - small spore prints. Paid 80p for it, the one my hand is touching. Contents eaten.

The range - have cheap kilner jars, picked up 4 for a quid each, didn't have the 12 pack otherwise I would have bought that.

Bonne maman jars are pretty good. 1/2 pints jars.

I think most of the supermarkets have wide mouth jars, like Tesco finest jam, asda extra special jam.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ball-Wide-Mouth--Freeze-Canning/dp/B001DIZ1NO/ref=sr_1_8?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1456939727&sr=1-8&keywords=wide+canning+jar

just another freak - not that cheap ^ ill keep looking for you

Oh people from uk hello lol *waves*

I go to the range for jars a lot, they have a big collection though some are pricey, or buy the cheap honey from coop 69p I think and the jar is quite good I have a couple. Kilner are great for storage jars though I have loads in all shapes and sizes haha.

My local garden centre stocks verm and perlite pretty cheap too, but I guess they will all vary.

Now that I'm actually looking into a greenhouse set up do I realise the UK has a serious lack of impeller humidifiers. :wtf:

has anyone come across one?

i think its possible to get what you want but probably for more than 200. 300 might be more realistic. the UK is seriously lacking when it comes to affordable and large PCs. America is champion in that department. sorry, wish i could help you more.
Ive got a basic 6L and its so time consuming to do many jars. Its just slightly too small for 3 jars so I have to do everything in lots of 2.

here is a 23L for nearly 300

By the way guys, if you are looking for jars I bought a bunch for ampulla a few months ago. They are not like ball jars, they are twist lock so lids only goes a quarter turn to fully tighten. They are pretty cheap though compared to what I can find both locally and from the Internet.

They also have a shitload of pp5 plastic containers, just bought some 1l ones to see how I like them. They also have these small flat containers that make awesome agar plates. I bought the 2nd smallest ones, should have gotten the smallest as they are a bit on the large side but they work beautifully.

I poured some agar in them about 3-4 days ago and so far so good.

I bought from their EU site as shipping is cheaper for me but they have a UK site for you britons. Shipping would be a piece of cake for people there I think. *jealous*
