If its been in the fridge 2 days, uncovered? You think that's still safe?

I'm sure it's fine unless you have some funky microbiotic infestation going on in your fridge. Instead of waiting for a reply you should have just eaten it by now! I mean, obviously if it smells or tastes off then toss it, but I expect it'll be even better now that the flavors have had some time to meld. Dishes with a lot of tomato and garlic tend to keep pretty well due to their natural acidity and antimicrobial properties. I'd probably wait to ditch leftover lasagna until around the 5 - 7 day mark. Next time throw some plastic wrap on that bitch, though! To keep it from drying out, more than anything.

I hate to say it but, I pitched it.
I didn't want to risk it. Kind of makes me mad because I don't like wasting food, and it was a damn fine chunk of lasagna. So I had sealed up baked spaghetti instead

oh man you were ok. could always put it in the oven foil-covered with a bit of water or stock to provide moisture and let it cook at 3-350 for an hour. you would kill anything that could have possibly killed you

Refrigerated food should easily last 4-5 days covered or not. Most restaurants cycle there food every 5 days or so, hence weekly chicken specials or whatever. You should be alright.

I also think you would've been OK with the lasagna. It tastes better the longer you let it sit. Obviously after about 5-7 days you can toss it. But you should be very safe after only 2 days.

If you had asked now whether or not we think its safe for you to reheat the lasagna, I would say at this point to avoid it.
