Where i work sent out a list of company "certifications" that they want you to pick one out of and complete before your next evaluation. I picked verbal legal dictation since im of course super professional and wear a suit and stuff. So I'm working on my dictation skills with this particular post, having someone else type it out for me so I have to ask you guy's opinion on how well I'm doing.

How's my dictate?

nice outline of the playbook pasty:cool:

posting pictures for claims is really important IMO.

We shouldn't take ourselves and our ideas so seriously that we flip out when there is a disagreement.  the mushrooms don't care if u used a loop or a blade to swipe their spores, or whether you bucketed or pasteurized your coir, they care that thru the entire progress, from start to finish, an entire chain of events somehow went well enough that they could triumphantly emerge and do their thang :mushroom2:

I love it when I see first-time posters use the word "science" in the thread! That always means they are going to receive the facepalm award of the day. Those threads are a lot of fun to read, just to see how the noob in question won't listen to anyone no matter how reasonable the answers are or even if a TC is helping them.
Here you can see an instance if you want to have a blast :hehehe:
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/22853352

Then they disappear, never to be seen again.

Edit: I added two links but the second turned out to be a nice bloke after all.

For me the only mistake is when the people who are corrected feel offended and butthurt instead of learning from what others are trying to teach them.

It is not a mistake to ask the most stupid questions, but it is a mistake to try an defend that for which you are trying to receive an answer when you post. That's my opinion.

But what I said is pure common sense
You don't need to read rules to know that, but apparently there are people who don't see that.

Nah, some came to this site knowing nothing lurked for a long time, researching and reading for months completing successful grows before ever making an account instead of expecting to be spoon fed. Everyone makes mistakes and learns from them, some learn from others mistakes by research and avoids a lot of problems.

Spot on! If someone is truly interested they'd take the trouble of reading like maniacs before even asking questions. Posting questions should be done IMO to polish what you've learn on your own.

Naw man its not that at all. Re-read the OP.

:wtfsonic: I sure hope not, the point of this is not for anyone to feel the need to facepalm people, rather it's to bridge the gap between those needing to learn and those who volunteer to teach. I'm tired of hearing people say we aren't shroomy enough, that means that there is a breakdown in communication somewhere.

Honestly I have never seen anyone get called a fucking moron on these boards regardless of the validity of that assessment. But people do get tough on people and some people take it too much to heart.

I guess what the TL;DR of the OP is this; no one is paid to be here and we are all trying to ensure that at the end of the day people walk away with a box full of shrooms. We all do our part to make that happen. So by being oversensitive or argumentative the only person being left out is the one refusing to learn.

it's so much to do with demeanor and attitude. some noobs get the facepalm some don't. if you think I'm mean it's probably because you're a facepalm noob
