Its questionable whether or not that may work. Once a cake is exposed to a light source, its going to pin no matter what. Even if one was to harvest whatever was on the cakes at the time and then place them back in jars, it would most likely continue to pin as well as stunt the growth of future mushrooms (the pins would try and force themselves to grow in the jar). If one was so inclined to move their base of opperations, however, it would probably be a better idea to allow them to continue fruiting in an incubator and just try and move them as delicately as possible.

depends how long it takes to rebirth them. Driving across town? Yes, *heard* of it working just fine. Driving across the country, takes about 2-3 days? Yup, should work fine. Storing for a week or more? Prolly not, depends how big the pins get, but maybe. rehydrate with drinking straw tek. You should use that tek all the time anyway.------------------ -From a registered Mad Scientist "From a certain point of view" -Jedi Master Obiwan Kenobi (also a Mad Scientist tm) VisitThe Donkey!-just behave

I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.

Thanks everyone!!The "trip",as in the long boring kind. Will only be for a day. And I do use the straw hydration method. So if all goes to plan, it should be all good. I am only concerned because I want to start another set of jars going and I don't know if they will be exhausted by the time I have to move. I will let everyone know how it turns out. Thanks again, and take care. ------------------ easy

Man... Driving cross country carrying live shrooms. Sounds risky to me. Manufacturing a controlled substance while operating a motor vehicle.. heheh.. I'm sure some creative cop would dream up an evil-sounding charge like that.-The iMJ

I didn't say it was smart, i didn't encourage it, and I didn't help it. I just stated that it was possible....------------------ -From a registered Mad Scientist "From a certain point of view" -Jedi Master Obiwan Kenobi (also a Mad Scientist tm) VisitThe Donkey!-just behave
