Nothing fancy, indeed. Thanks!

Ohhhh, you must like it heavy, huh? Deconstruction, as a whole and compared to the other 3 original DTP albums, is probably my favorite as well. Deconstruction, Juular, The Mighty Masturbator are all great tracks. I really like some of his mellower stuff, too, though. The song 'Ghost' is great one.
I'm gonna try posting a video now........ Will you guys watch it? hahahah

Same here! Have you ever heard this one, Dilsnique? It's not Deconstruction-heavy, but it's heavy... and that haunting chorus! The lyrics are a psychedelic gem, as well.
Who's behind the door... WHO'S BEHIND THE DOOR?
Reptile, the reptile in me Animal, I'm an animal, and we're all the same, ALL the same... So I'm sending to you this Depth Charge
Known, into the unknown, seeking the unknown, into the unknown depths
Insect or animal, though we're not the same... EVERYTHING'S THE SAME!!!
Known, into the unknown, seeking the unknown, into the unknown Depths
NO ANGER

Man, I saw him live years ago with Strapping Young Lad. Fucking AWESOME! He's so damn funny, too. I saw him open for Cynic with his new project, too, and it was still good, but the Strapping Young Lad show was nuts.
He'd come out and say stuff like "You people fucking suck!" and jump right into the heaviest fucking songs. Funny shit.

Strapping Young Lad - Alien
Also, he has a solo album called Ziltoid The Omniscient, and it's hilarious with great tunes. It's a concept album about a coffee maker day dreaming about aliens and shit LOL!

Ziltoid the Omniscient is one his more consistent albums, I think. Every song on that album is great and they flow together nicely. The hilarious back story and dialogue just sends it over the top, though. That is such a good fucking album. The newset Ziltoid album is pretty good but it's nowhere near the initial 2007 album, IMO.
He is easily one of the more interesting, creative, hardworking people out there in music land, for sure!
And have any of you watched The Retinal Circus concert? It was basically a summation of his career up to that point. Over two and a half hours of tunes that span his 25 year career.... He even plays two Strapping Young Lad songs (w/ Jed Simon) for the first time since disbanding the band in 2006... to everyone's delight!
It's on YouTube if anyone is interested.

And yes, Hypergeek! haha that's a fun track, huh? You have to go look up "Brown Man" if you haven't heard it yet. It was recorded during Deconstruction and is funny as hell... just ridiculous and absurdly funny.... shit, I'll just post it...
I just love it... PUSSY, PUSSY, PUSSY, PUSSY, OMM NOM NOM!

Devin is my favorite (possibly overtaking Dream Theater now!). I can trait to Trip to Ghost and Mello selections from other albums. He's a genius! Also, please watch his DVD of his Royal Albert Hall concert. It's EPIC!
