i know, but thanks, you know i've been wanting more still, since....:drooling: i sauteed the shrooms, and they cooked, afterwards, alongside the steak, as it was pan-seared, and with the same garlic butter i prepared and used in the shrooms as well, and also the steak was drizzled all the while lovingly with said butter, as it cooked; seasoned well of course with S&P, and also a little of lemon-olive oil.

i should have prepped some broccoli, that would have really topped it off.

Tonight Im making chicken wraps trying to be healthy. I've been eating healthy all week and I feel great. My lady got me Graham Elliott's new recipe book I cant wait to dive into. I'll be sure to share. I usually make more interesting stuff I'm glad I found a place to show off.

Ether that's super greasy or you gotta let the steak rest 3-5 minutes before cutting into it. You keep more juices that way :manofapproval:

Ah I see. Good call man well done. Bummer about the heat. Steaks can be tricky especially since their expensive most of us don't get much practice very often ha.

indeed, i'm not a chef or nuthin...and i got these cast iron pans...they get hot...i got some work to do, but it was actually just an accident...i could have watched them better, too, but i was kinda tasked with making dinner, lol, and i was rushing. tsk tsk.

Lol when is dinner NOT in a rush. Those cast irons are great for steaks. Have you tried searing  the steak on both sides then putting the whole cast iron in the oven? works like a charm!

yeah, but no time to wait for them to cook...why i had to cook highheat, because it was sprung on me. if otherwise, i would have done so, or maybe just had sprung for a longer cooking time, and again, still should have been patient and just hung around the kitchen; instead i thought i'd go do something for a moment, a moment turned into minutes, and i just let it go too long.

every steak is a competition.

focus on the sizzle until steak is complete.

but today...i went to an excellent restaurant, and got a chicken pot pie, par excellence, and it came with an equally good caesar salad.

then i had some extra pot pie, which i split with me mum; and had more of my own ceasar salad.

then afterwards, after i watched a movie, i ate all of this.

chicken drumstick, gelatinous delicious ox tail, samosa, and some curiously crazy-good rice mixture.
