They so slow!
Roughly how Long till they fruit !

I tried aluminum trays once and when I was all finished the aluminum had holes all over it. Fucking shrooms are corrosive.
Glad press n seal makes a great liner for aluminum trays.

Well, that plant started from seed dropped by a bird in a garden made entirely of spent monotub substrate. And it seems to be the perfect spot to grow oyster varieties

Those pins aren't looking too healthy... Maybe dry?

Possibly, why are you doing such a thing? I've seen pins like that before but they've never happened in my grows.. not sure what causes it. Some environmental factor or other. Too wet or too dry, maybe lysol, but probably not.

Is that a bagged grow kit or what? Show me your fruiting chamber. And stop spraying disinfectant.

Doesn't look that dry. . . Looks like something else. Should know in a few days for sure what's up.

Yeah I noticed the water droplets on the pins... But it kind of looks similar to what it would look like with a dry sub and a wet top. And yeah whatever else it is that makes the pins look that way.

Looks like the start of Lecanicillium fungicola but it's still a bit too soon to say for sure. If it starts splitting, slumping, or dry looking blobs start forming then that is probably the culprit. Should know in a day or two if it is.

Fungicola sounded like something I would want on a warm summer day until I googled it and realized it was vert. Or, well, "verticillium dry bubble". That's the same thing as what we normally see crop up now and then right? Or are there different types of veriticillium infections?

Most verticillium are plant pathogens. Verticillium fungicola (what we call vert or dry bubble) has been reclassified into Lecanicillium.

Gotcha. So then, if you had a batch of cucumbers or whatever riddled with vert, that same vert likely wouldn't be what would stick to you and fuck your grows? So then that one dude who had that exact issue probably fretted over nothing? Interesting possibility. I don't think I've encountered said fungicola because I've sprayed all my weird looking fruits directly and my other grows were never fucked as a result.
