Hiding pot in the car

I heard that hiding a stash inside the little gas door on the side of your car is smart because a cop never checks there. Has anyone ever experienced or heard of a cop checking there?

Careful - if they bring in the dogs, they may rip off the panel? That's what I assume, anyway.

If you've heard of it, I bet they have too. I read many books on searches and trafficking, and its one of the first places they'll search if they decide to tear your car apart. A lack of a lock makes it 10x easier.

in most cars there is a thing called a resionator. what it is is a little hollow box attached somewhere to your intake, usually before the filter, but not always, this big open enclosed space is supposed to decrease the loudness of your intake, although your car works fine without it.
i have always thought that hiding somthing in it and then putting a layer of silicone or somthing over it and re-attaching this part would be a good idea.
although in some cars it is a bitch to get out, and on others it is very small.
my old camry had a huge one, but it was inside the fender, and my honda accord, had a reals small one, but it ctill could have fithalf an oz of packed herb.

Whenever I have to hold when I'm driving, I put it in the battery part of my cd player (not a personal, like a boombox) that I bring to work. I'd say its a pretty good idea.

There was a thread on this site a while back linking to a police anti-drug site. I wish I could remember the address of the site! Anyway, there was a section on where people are likely to conceal drugs in cars. They listed sooooo many places...many wouldn't have even been thought of by even the most determined person! They're wiser to hiding places than you'd think, so be extra careful...

I'd pretty much figure that if you have it hidden in your car in a manner that doesn't involve tools, they'll either not find it because they don't have cause to search your car or they will find it in any "hiding spot."
I'm just usually concerned about such things being visible from the outside, or in a place where they might fall out or otherwise be exposed if I'm pulled over for a traffic ticket.

HAHAHA, I was watching cops and the cops searched that spot and found a good amount of herion including a fair amount of cash. They searched it on T.V. so they probly do it in real life.

get a waterproof container, wait it down and keep a large beverage next to you. Just drop your shit in there. Unless the cop is bieng a real ashole, he's not gonna dump your drink or go fishing around in it

Or you can just open the glove box and hide it behind there, but that won't do much when they have a drug dog.

there are stash gas caps, ones that have a hiding spot inside the actual cap that screws into your gas tank hole, those would work pretty well if you ask me.

A locked box is a good investment. If you keep your stuff locked in the box, and the box locked in the trunk, the cops will have a hard time getting permission to open it. That is, unless you give him permission yourself... I was in a traffic stop once, and the cop says to Bill "do you mind if I search your van" and bill says "I don't want you to search my van" ... so the cop says "I can bring a dog"... and bill says "Go ahead" all petulant like... so the cop says to his partner, "It's alright, we can search, he said go ahead"... needless to say, they found our stash...
The moral of the story is, if at a traffic stop, never act like a child, and never say anything except "I dont want you to search my car", and "can I go now?"... If you ask if you can go, and he says no, then legally you are under arrest. You should stop making statements at that point, the only words out of your mouth should be "I want a lawywer" The cops can't make you wait for a dog to arrive unless they have good reason to hold you, but they will often ask you to wait "voluntarily"... that's why you should ask if you can go now early and often...
