question for bulk growers
    #2279619 - 01/28/04 02:53 AM (12 years, 11 months ago)

when your casing is done flushing, what do you do with it? I mean you can't just put like 10 gallons of manuer on the curb for your garbage man to come pick up... or can you?

You mulch out a veggie garden with it. Think about it. When you grow mushrooms you're actually decomposing the substrate, yes the mycelium is breaking it down. Now what do you think that stuff is called?

Ah that's right, it's called "spent mushroom compost" that comes from the licit mushroom industry, and sells from $25 to $45 a cubic meter from the landscape supply yards -- often used to top dress lawns, enrich veggie soils and also spread as a sub-mulch in ornamental plantings by landscaper contractors. Most benign looking stuff out.

And yes, cubie myc manure looks/smells much the same to A.bisporus mush compost. What do you think I'm going to do with this new tub of Amazon spawned manure when finished? I ain't wasting it, I have roses it will fert.

awsome as always man , Starter is no fool.

Why just leave it at the curb????

Even if yo cant use it as starter says, and if you cant you really should give it to someone that can spent mushroom compost is awsome, and personally I love this whole constant cycling of nutrients among plants, animals, mushrooms, and then plants again

but if you have NOTHING you can do with it, throw it somewhere , it will feed the earth, just make sure you dont throw it on the law of your neighboor, he might not find the whole cycling of nutrients thing so cool

But unlike say toxic chemicals from cannabis growing, you arent really hurting anything , IMO, but keep it out of the water (I am NOT a bulk grower , but this questions seems simple to me)
