Hopefully I'm wrong, but looks bacterial, good luck!

Nah they're white and clean for now.
This cake on the other hand got contaminated by something, when I picked it up it wasn't as solid as the healthy cakes, it was disgusting to the touch, so I dumped it immediately, I hope it doesn't infect my other healthy cakes.

Doesn't matter what color they are, I agree they do look a bit bacterial.

Side note for ya slender... Most contamination molds are pure white mycellium... You don't see the color (green in your case) until oxygen is introduced allowing them to sporelate...the green is the spores.

http://www.fungi.com/product-detail/product/250-ml-stainless-steel-eberbach-container.html

Fuck yea! Bought a Waring Erberbach lab blender used for dirt cheap. Wicked cheap!
Has 3 containers, the smaller metal one needs a lid I think but Im sure I can find one easy enough, Im assuming the other container is autoclaveable too. I might buy a glass container from a fellow user at reasonable price too.
Man these things are expensive, brand the containers alone like in the link from Fungi Perfecti sell for 4-800 bucks, and that's without the blender!
Anyone know why these labraotory blenders and thier containers cost so much?
Anyways I cant wait for it to show. It'll make liquid innoculant a fucking blast!

Dang dude messing with LI is the last thing I would do if I was having terrible contam issues. I'm not having them and I'm afraid of trying the blender thing until I'm like a pro, just seems like so many new vectors. Good luck though, that thing looks amazing. If I had one of those I would totally do LI. Very sweet!

Contam issues or not though, we all would have scooped that thing up if it was a super sweet deal and just hung onto it until we got the problem resolved. It's a bad ass new toy for cheap, hard to pass that up

Definitely a score. Just started my first attempt at liquids myself two days ago, cornmeal plates with the oster blender. I didn't look at them yesterday but this morning There was myc attached to grain everywhere. Excited to see how much time it shaves off using it along with the poly at spawning method.

I made a grain LC by injecting water into colonized grains yesterday. used 10cc in each of 3 jars, hoping that it's a little bit faster than agar. Pretty close to LI maybe one day I'll buy a blender.

, Never done a GWLC but heard good things, I may try one soon. I have wanted a blender for a long time and finally got one for Christmas.

you can make LI by dropping an agar plate/wedge in a jar with a normal lid then shake the shit out of it.
li for the jars on the left was blended, for the jars on the right it was shaken. the blender is only a little bit more optimal as it seems to not damage the myc as much and leads to slightly faster recovery.

so you're just throwing a plate of agar in a blender with some water, and pouring it over the grains?
maybe ill give it a go later today

in the regular LI tek by muda, you drop a plate of agar in a jar with sterilized water and a blender blade attachment (they fit perfectly on a regular mouth mason jar). as an alternative, you can drop a plate of agar in a jar with sterilized water and just put a regular lid on it - no blender attachement - and then just shake it vigorously. and then, yes, you pour it over grains or suck it up into syringes.
