So what would the exact recipe be if I wanted to go with 125ml of water to start? only reason I'm asking about 125 is that it makes exactly 8 of these glad mini rounds!
2g is to 100ml as 2.5g is to 125ml
that's not even math, that's 4th grade how to use numbers, cross multiplication
2 x --- = --- 100 125

I meant what was everything I needed to add, not the amount smarty pants. And idk where you went to school but in fourth grade I definitely wasn't doing anything like that. and definitely didn't reply to be flamed, I'll tell you that for sure. I meant like what was everything else I needed to add in.
By no way did I mean what was the amount of dme I need I meant what else do I need to add in.

They have a pretty good little imperfect gap. I ended up siliconing mine together cause the holes were to much. I cut them with a strait razor to harvest and now the leftover silicone makes a good seal.
I know your going for unmodified, I was just saying.

I wonder if you really need to dubtub those. I used on as a mini monos, there's a good 3"+ of fruiting space. Most cubes from a thinnish sub aren't gonna get much bigger than that, and they'll grow sideways if they do (especially with that light coming from the side with an opaque lid.) I started with a dub, it was always falling appart.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."

Ya I was thinking more along the lines of this too, 2 tubs = twice the cost per tub. If money is short like it is here mini mono could work? I don't wan't to have to use 2 tubs per chamber if I don't have to.

if closed, the lid restricts fae. there is not enough fae at this point to fruit.
the lid is also opaque, restricting light from hitting the sub.
if the lid is open but resting on top, the fruits will push the lid off. the containers are not that deep, the fruits will easily outgrow it.
2nd container bottom offers superior fae, light exposure, proper real-estate and peace of mind.
I could probably get away with doing ape without the 2nd container top, but I would rather they receive proper fae and light than not.

I have similar containers except mine have clear lids, And if I put holes like a Mono it would still get its FAE. Guess everyone has their own ideas. I will try my way if it doesn't work, too big shrooms, not enough fae, ect... I will for sure give your way a whirl!
Is your agar firm when it cools? Mines very goopy, just wondering If its supposed to be like that? I followed your ingredients. And also tried a MEA, the mea I used a tad too much water, it made more dishes than usual and they were even more watery. Still was able to get a tiny wedge off the first ones, but not sure I will be able to from this second MEA batch. Ah well only time will tell.

My agar's consistancy depends on how I plan on using it. For spore germination, I use .75 grams of agar powder per 1/2 cup of water and that comes out soft but solid. For regular transfers, I use 1.5 grams of agar powder per 1/2 cup of water and that comes out firm. I need to update some of my videos. Techniques change with time and experience.

50+ of those must be me alone. I'm as new to this(myco in general) as it can get, but I have been obsessively reading/watching your tuts—and others'—and I keep coming back. Haven't even began anything, but super excited to start. SpitballJedi's convinced me to start with agar.
Anyway, thanks a lot, man.

Great sticky! I'm assuming you can transfer any leftover blenderless LI to another jar of sterilized water? Or would you start over with a clean plate? I've got to get into LIs. agar>grain is now too slow for my liking lol.
