polyploidy is common in commercial flowers and fruits.  It often results in larger flowers or fruits.  Polyploid plants can be propagated through tissue cloning like any other plant.  New novel phenotypes of flowers and fruit trees can be derived through induced polyploidy.  seeds are treated with colchisine then planted as normal.

It's been on 12/12 lighting for about a week now, some of the plants seemed like they were starting to show pre-flowers.  If the plants getting a little extra light  won't hurt them, I think I'll just keep the lights on the schedule they're on. But to double check, if it only gets 10 hours of darkness just for today, it shouldn't hurt 'em?

as long as you hit 12/12 tomorrow. I wouldn't think it would hurt.

Right on. I've been in a funk all day thinking I'd fucked them up

Most guides make it seem like a second of extra light will make the plant re-veg.

Thanks again everyone, I'll post some new pics of the trifoliate plant here in a bit when the lights come on.

its not always that easy to reveg. i once kept some plants alive over winter and even by june, they had no new growth.  i was pretty careful to leave enough foliage when i harvested.  They didn't die or anything, they just didn't grow. I'm not sure why they stalled out like that.

I think leaving too much foliage may actually cause problems. Most info  on re-vegging says it takes weeks for any new growth to start, but a guy in one thread that I'd read had growth a lot faster, and he'd cut off everything he could use.  But I've never done it before, so idk.

OK how do I put a pic in here?
Here's a polyploid I had a while ago, it cloned pretty easily, I made a tutorial on how to clone and put it on YouTube, if you'd be interested. It turned out to be a male though. I hope you tried to bury the stems on those like was suggested, it will help make more roots appear on the leggy part, as long as you bury it. When I grow indoor, I usually go from 18/6 to 16/18 to 14/10 to 12/12 but kinda fast like a couple days each cycle cause in real life, the weather doesn't go from 18/6 to 12/12 in one day. Towards the end of its life I try to go to 8/16, an experiment a buddy from Brazil is showing me

Ended up with three females, and the trifoliate is one of them!

I realize now that I probably won't have the money for more fixtures and bulbs for a while if things keep up like they are, and I was thinking of cutting down the plant in the QT cup so the other ones can get more light.

Here's the mutant:

Some hash I made from some of the males, some bud, shake, stems, and rosin tek'd bud:
