shroom identification

We found these shrooms in a Queensland botanical garden in Australia where it was growing out of ground. The stem was hollow and longish. My friend says it bruises purple but this one in the photo wont bruise a colour. It smells similar to normal eatable mushrooms. Here are the photos:

The stem reminds me of psathyrella, though I cannot find a species that would match the look of the cap. Then again, I'm not familiar with the species that grow Down Under, so probably I'm way out of my league
Any additional info (like sporeprint!) could be helpful.

We're gonna definitely need a spore print to identify it.
Also, please cut it in half vertically, then take one of the halves and scrape it harde enough to bruise it on the inside of the cut. Color changes due to bruising can take up to an hour to occur, but you should watch for the first minute or two for any rapid changes.
The split mushroom will also make it easy for you to tell us if the gills are attached to the stem or not.
Happy mushrooming!

Sounds a lot better than my half-baked psathyrella-guess, can I still change bets?
