Where to trip?
    #2275404 - 01/26/04 07:25 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

Hey guys, at my house there are too many other people and not enough privacy to trip. I was wondering if any one knew any place that I could trip publicly (inexpensively and free, if possible)? Friends' homes cannot be an option, either. Also, the outdoors are too cold right now...

So, any other ideas? I would most prefer a place I could possibly write or enjoy some quiet time just sitting.

Thanks!

Try seeing a psychiatrist while you're on shrooms, it'll definately be a trip :nut:

I don't get when people suggest renting a cheap room... surely a strange and uncomfortable (it's cheap!) place is the last thing you want?

as fun as I think it would be, especially if it's an art museum with lots of pretty art and colors, I contraindicate tripping at a museum, cuz you may become entranced with the beauty, and what with your decreased inhibitions, may get carried away into touching things and getting kicked out or setting off alarms, which could prove unsettling for your comfort and experience. :-)

At least for me, tripping is a very interactive, tactile kind of experience, and I like to touch and feel things, and especially outside in the springtime, I like to lie on the grass and roll around like I did as a kid, and walk around and touch trees, it's like relearning the textures of things all over again. If you're brave enough to go in public where there's a lot of people, perhaps you could try a department store or craft store, where you could actually walk around and enjoy it, and you wouldn't look out of place touching things. hmm, I don't know what else to suggest if you say it's too cold to go outside and friend's places are not options. this really only leaves indoor public places, and this might not be the best thing to try out yet if it's your first trip.

If you lack that level of control while tripping, then it would not be a good idea to trip in public in general.

I find that I can very easily 'control' my actions while tripping on mushrooms, atleast of what I'd consider a 'recreational' dose. True, at higher dosages - this becomes increasingly difficult - I have spent an entire trip rolling around on the floor in my appartment wrapped around in a blanket and hiding under desks - it was fun, what I can say. Mind you, I generally wouldnt take that type of a dose that lead to that night in a public place.

Aslong as he's not taking a super-strong dose, controlling himself shouldnt be a problem ,and even then - there is only so much you can blame 'well, I was on drugs' for bizzar actions.

I would recomend an art gallery or a museum on 'off' hours (find out when its least busy).

Or, simply wait until it is warmer outside. Spring is just around the corner.
