Knots or primordia in jar?

their are fairly big white fuzzy lumps in one of my jars and read it is primordia. i think. i do not no what the difference is between primordia and hyphal knots.
the big fuzzy lumps have been their for some time now but i didnt fruit it because their is a very small area at the bottom that has not colonized yet because i think the cake is dehydrated. the larger fuzzy lump is turning blue as well probobly from trying to grow and being pressed upon the glass. it has been in the jar for like 2 months.
i think it is best to rehydrate and fruit it in my FC but what do you guys think?

How can we help you with out pictures? Are we supposed to use your eyes? Go borrow a camera, any advice you get with out pictures is a shot in the dark. Also, mushrooms will grow in your jar, they wont halt and bruise.

Fuzzy lumps are neither hyphal knots, primordia, or pins.
In the picture below, you can easily see the transition from hyphal knots(tiny dots-they're all over) to primordia(about 1 inch above and to the left of the 2 in 20) which are elongated, but not yet differentiated with heads, to pins which have a distinct head or cap beginning to develop, to actual mushrooms. Ha, growing on currency? I've seen pics of the bible and the bra and some of the other ones, but that's new.
OP: Are your jars fully colonized? If they've been incubating for 2 months I hope so. Birth em!

yes that is exactly what it looks like. it was hard explaining without a camera my bad.
so i guess my question is: should i fruit when primordia is forming in the jars even though their is a very small uncolonized area at the bottom which may be due to lack of water.
i just dont want to wait to long to fruit if it is ready and has been in the jar for a couple months.
and no contamination is visible. it smells normal. only some bruising.

if its a pin its only one. let it finish colonizing, birth, dunk and roll then place in FC.

I have rye jars that have been colonizing for about 2 or 3 weeks from g2g and are almost ready. The upper half of the grains has dried and shrank, and now I can see knots everywhere and possibly primordia on these upper halves. Should I spawn these jars to bulk or wait for 100% (which should be in 2 days or so)? Thanks

Sorry to bump this but I am preparing bulk substrate right now so I'd really like some advice about my question: should I spawn my rye jars that have knots and some primordia and are about 96% colonized or wait or fruit in vitro with a casing layer? Many thanks!

You can use spawn with pins, and spawn pins and all right to bulk, grain to grain, etc.
Pins are 100% mycelium. It's a carryover myth from pot growers that there's a vegetative stage and a fruiting stage, and that mycelium can't easily go back and forth between them. Fungi are pretty amazing creatures. RR with that said go 4 it!
