Totes!

Hey I don't know if this is common knowledge or not, but I'll say it anyway. I recently completed my post-Christmas "return shit and buy the shit you actually wanted" ritual. It seems that a lot of stores are having sales on totes. This one Walmart had a central part of their store dedicated to offloading post-Christmas totes. They were also all over the place at Lowes, Kmart and Home Depot.
If you're looking for a new FC, monotub or incubator, it could be a good time to pick one up!

Ah, wally world. I get so much crap there. I wonder how much shrooms they've been indirectly responsible for the creation of. I bet it's enough for a class action lawsuit.

I'll second this. I went and there were totes everywhere. Big ones, little ones, tall ones, short ones, mini ones, stackable, some even have wheels. Lots of them had clear tops as well. Had to look around for them though.
I was also looking for BRF. I asked one of the workers, and he said someone had asked for the same thing, and they definitely do not have any. I suspect there may be a mycologist in my area.

The other day I saw a kid in his late teens or early twentys with a cart full of qt jars and a bag of WBS. I was tempted to stop him and ask what he was growing.

There's a lot more "gluten intollerant" people than there are mushroom growers. Probably even a lot more celiacs. Apparently the more weird flours you use, the less shit the things you bake without wheat taste.
Good info on the totes. I tend not to like to patronize wally, but I'll check target.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent.
Triggered yet?

No, this does not look right...

It's probably a good idea not to use wally world totes for mushrooms. The myc probably picks up all of the lead that's in that shit.

Went back tonight for something. 85% of the totes were gone. I was able to grab a 108Qt for a SAB There are a couple different really huge totes, 1 with wheels. The 1 with wheels was as wide as the end cap of an aisle. None of those were clear though. There were more than a few clear ones as well. There was one that was damn near glass clear.
The 108Qt (Sterlite 1478) I got is the same one SpitBallJedi used in his SAB tek. Was $10. Not to bad.
