I doubt he'll follow through. His clothing line is in China.

That video came out 4 years ago, and at the end, David Letterman said "Let's just shut down the Donald Trump Factory in Beijing" to which Trump responded "I would love to".
It never happened. Trump is just a talker.

With libs always claiming to support the middle class, you would think they would support reviving the manufacturing sector. ( insert crazy strawman shit here )
So you want to help the middle class by eliminating laws that guarantee them decent working conditions and a minimum wage? Making the middle class poorer isn't helping them.

Actually, your own interpretation of what you wrote is completely retarded.
How can the US manufacture things cheaper than China can, if not by eliminating decent working conditions or wages?
If you say by eliminating Government regulations, please provide a specific example.

It's always sweat shops and slave labor with you, isn't it?
If you can come up with other valid reasons why China is cheaper, please share.

hostileuniverse said: How about reducing the burden of taxation on a business? That would certainly help, would it not?
No, because a foreign corporation engaged in a US trade or business is taxed at regular US corporate tax rates on income from US sources. Additionally, many Chinese goods are subject to import duties (which may go away if we implement TPP).
So no, taxation is not a factor. Once again, how can Trump manufacture things cheaper in the US, if not by eliminating decent working conditions or wages?

Exactly.
