NARCS.
    #2271999 - 01/25/04 03:06 PM (20 years, 3 months ago)

i need info on narcs quick. im scared shitless, one of my local friends bought pot from someone we know, and he turned out to be working for the police, they provided him with the marijuana and had him call my friend, set up a deal, and sell him the bud. then he drove into a trap, where the cops pulled over the car.

my question is, if u ask someone if they are using anything u say against you/ working for the police, can what they gather be used against you? whats the deal, how can i protect myself from these dirty fucking rats. im soooo fucking scared right now, cause the narc that busted my friend has called alot of my close friends asking them if they need pot. help!!!!

He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

move your shit into a more discreet location or trustworthy friend's and wait it out. advise all of your friends to do the same. thats all you can do. as long as this friend has some balls you have nothing to worry about

and to answer your question, cops do pretty much whatever they want in the states

yea well its not really an option to relocate my operations.

im really worried about other narcs i dont know about, ive discussed illegal activities with a few people i shouldnt have. and now im scared. at least ill definitly stop talking to ppl now. oh yea, im on probation for drug related charges, so they can search my room when they feel like it. ive never even met my one probation officer (i have 2, for 2 seperate indictments) and the other one came to my house once like 3 years ago and i havent seen her since.

Sounds like entrapment, which is illegal.

If you ask for the pot from the narc and he sells it to you, then busts you....thats not entrapment........

But if you are asked by a narc out of the blue if you want pot.....that would be entrapment......

You showing the willingness to break the law makes entrapment void......

Thats my understanding anyway.......

Yup, thats how I see it too. And if this "narc" is calling kids and asking if they want pot or not, thats entrapment.

> my question is, if u ask someone if they are using anything u say against you/ working for the police, can what they gather be used against you?

Yes, they can and will use it against you. The cops cannot, that would be entrapment. Your friend isn't a cop... he is a narc... and thus he is not held to the same standards as the cops are.

> whats the deal, how can i protect myself from these dirty fucking rats.

You cannot. Trust nobody. Tell nobody. I don't care how good your friend is, when the cop says "Look, one of you is going to prison as a rape toy for the next twenty years. It is either you or your friend... tell me what you know. Your friend isn't an innocent in this... he knew what he was doing, he took the risk. Why should you pay for his mistake. Talk to us, work with us, and I will put in my report that you were very helpful. The DA will see this, and he will go easy on you. A few years of probation... but the choice is yours. Is twenty years of anal rape really worth... "

> im soooo fucking scared right now, cause the narc that busted my friend has called alot of my close friends asking them if they need pot. help!!!!

Assume that you are going to get arrested and prepare for it. When the time comes, have a lawyer standing by, have bail ready, and know to keep your mouth shut. If the hammer comes down on you, then you are prepared. If you squeeze through on this one, then you really aren't out anything.

Also, cops are slow. If you don't hear anything for a few weeks, don't assume that you are in the clear. I have seen them take months to get around to something in the past.

Edit: One more thing... cops feed upwards. They want your friends suppliers, not his users. The users are a nice bonus, but the cops know most of them are not worth the effort to bust. So, if you are a user, then you are in a much safer place than if you are a supplier. If you are a supplier, then clean your shit up (smartly, don't use your own trash) and hope for the best.

> But if you are asked by a narc out of the blue if you want pot.....that would be entrapment......

If the narc were a cop, then yes, that would be entrapment. If the narc is a regular citizen, that then goes to the cops (or is working with the cops), then it is not entrapment...

I'd get rid of all your shit now if you can't relocate, man. It's not worth the risk of going to jail under charges of cultivation if you imagine there is a good chance of that happening. Yeh, you may lose a good amount of money, but I just wouldn't risk it. Good luck, mang; hope things go smoothly. Keep us all in touch.

Peace,
masterg

Also something that people assume is that if you ask a undercover cop if he is a cop he has to tell you... this isen't true. Dont make the mistake of thinking your free and clear from just asking this question.

Penalties against drug use should not be more damaging to an individual than the use of the drug itself. Nowhere is this more clear than in the laws against the possession of marijuana and mushrooms in private for personal use.
