some of my caps are just starting to open. 1st goal was to get 1 or more good prints to ensure next crop. Just wondering when a good time to pull for print?

Immediately after the veil tears.
But you can scrape away the veil with a sanitary scalpel also and print it early if you need to. I prefer to wait til the veil tears though because I know they are currently sporulating.

As soon as the veil breaks you are safe to make your print.

Got it, if the veil breaks it is too late to print so I'll take all the pins out now and put on some very rough paper.
Just spoofin. Thanks, I've got my PC going now and will get two prints started tonight. YES!

No.
If the veil breaks it is NOT too late to print. You can print caps that have been open for a day if you want. The highest concentration of spores is going to come right when the veil breaks though.
