A couple questions....

I have some one quart jars and want to be able to shake them, can somebody tell me the best substrate to be used for this? A recipe would be awsome.  Also can somebody tell me what the hell degeneration exactly is and how to prevent it, a link would be great.

Okay. First off just about any grain Tek is going to ba shakeable. WBS (Wild Bird Seed) is shaken twice during colonization.

While other people use unpopped kernals of popcorn, which is shaken every few days.

There are also Rye Berries and other assorted substrates.


2. Degeneration is loss of potency. It occurs after you have cloned shroom for many generations straight. As long as you go back to spore every few generations, it will never happen.
