ok.. last week my backpack was stolen and it had my cd case with about 150 cds in it. I just got a bunch of cd-rs and I'm looking to burn burn burn. I want everyone's recommendations on the best psy goa to sleep to...chill out to... drive to... have sex to... etc etc.. starting with sleep. I'm used to sleeping to astral projection or something and the silence has been killing me. I'm covered for tonight though because I just burned some Infected Mushroom. Here is what I already have covered: Shpongle Infected Mushroom Hallucinogen Juno Reactor I'm downloading tons of stuff now.. Cosma, Entheogenic, Full Color, Oakenfold, Astral Projection, Dark Nebula.. Give me your advice on your best and absolute favorites. Name albums also if you can.

I dont really like the idea of listening to eletronica as I sleep.. Programmed synths and repeating patterns aren't what I want my brain tuning itself to.. You like classical stuff? Ah.. fuckit.
Get some chicane, if theres any electronica to fall asleep to, its chicane.

Have you heard of Lemon Jelly? It's moreso downtempo ambient-like beats but it's definetly something I could fall asleep to... http://www.lemonjelly.ky/ Page one and Space walk might be a good couple first songs to check out if your interested.

Well, I have a few suggestions, seein' as I have like 800 electronic songs on my computer, hehe. A couple bands I didn't see posted were:
- X-Dream (I don't have a great sound system, but I've read X-Dream uses killer bass for those of you who have the system for it.)
- Pleiadians
- Space Tribe
- MFG, M.F.G., Message From God (You can sometimes find their stuff under any of those)
- Delerium (The older stuff if you want ambient/experimental)
- The Mystery of the Yeti 1 & 2 (Not a band, but name of the albums)
I'm sure there's a couple others, but those are what come to mind. Between what I named and what's already been named, you've got yourself some of the best in the world of trance. Especially Shpongle...mm...*drool*...

You should sleep to ambient music. I find it better.
Although, lately I have fallen asleep listening to trance (and other music, mostly trance) and I had one cool dream, and one very strange dream. I don't know if they were influenced by the music, but the cool dream was one of those that seem as if it didn't come from your head (but from somewhere else).
If I had to say, I'd say Astral Projection or Paul Okenfold. Okenfold is overated (cause he only spins), but the producer/s are usually good. It's more chill trance imo.

I third that motion, especially if you want to sleep Mystery of the Yeti albums are what you need. Slow paced, trippy and it feels like you are travelling. The 2nd has been in my cd player for like 6 months now and I've been going to sleep with it since then.
I'd also add to that The Infinity Project - Mystical Experiences as sleep inducing material.

Biosphere-substrata is very organic, and ambient--not trance at all, but can be psychedelic. It's one of my favorite albums.
