 using h202 in a g2g transfer

i heard u can prevent contams by using h202 with a g2g. a shroomery member states to use 10 ml of h202 once grain has cooled down . cooled down from what the pc ? and if so that means ima have to open a jar to add the h202 to after its was sterilized correct? i know h202 is only used in small amount with mycelium only . if anyone has any advice or teks id appreciate it alot

H2o2 doesn't kill a lot of things. Like anything catalase positive, you would have way more contamination trying to do something like that

Maybe something in the initial soak of rye before sterilizing someone tried? But yeah peroxide will destroy myc.

well a trusted cultivator ohmatic says he uses h202 and has success with doing so and i also have a buddy who uses h202 in his lc and agar with great success thats what lead me to this post. if theres anybody out there who used h202 with good results or has a tek id like that if not i guess im going to have to test it. and the h202 would be used after the jars where cooled in the jars receiving the transfer before the transfer and shook very well then i would add the colonized grains to the h202 grain jars

I've used h2o2 with a poor success rate. Maybe that fits your criteria.
The Tek is outdated and rarely used. H2O2 damages myc and leads to more extensive problems.
It has one purpose and that is to temporarily put cobweb mold in check. Beyond that it had no place in your grow.

That's ridiculous. Adding a second unnecessary transfer to add the peroxide is only adding a second opportunity to screw up and introduce contaminants.
