Do you drop the whole piece of paper in along with it, or what?

"In" what? Into the substrate?
In this case you got to create the syringe.
It's plenty of guides and FAQ, take a look around.

No, I assume you are talking about making a spore syringe? If so, you scrape some of the spores off into a sterile water solution, which s then sucked up with a syringe. Easy as pie

I thought people take questions here seriusly. I know it seems simple, but to a person who has never done it before it seems confusing.

have you read any of the teks on how to do it...i'm sure they explain it extensively...all you have to do is take your syringe. fill with sterile water, use a sterile shot glass, and scrape some spores in into the shot glass, squirt the 12 cc of water into the shotglass, and then suck back up, i usually repeat the sucking and squirting a few times, just cuz i like to make sure i sucked up as many of the spores i could.

read read read. crawl, then walk.  your questions could be answered here, but you could just as easily answer them yourself with just a little effort, evryone here knows how to do it, i guarentee they read how to do it before just comming in and posting a question that displays lack of understanding and effort.

i suggest trying the cultivation FAQ.

and just to answer your question, youput the spores in a syringe with distilled water under sterile conditions.
the media is injected into the jars, one print makes many syringes, one syringe makes several jars.  one jar can make about 10 more jars, and each of those 10 more, and one more generation for a total of 100 from one. (if you are using rye or millet and have a good sterile gloxe-box.

then you can do whatever you want, grow, case.... well you can do a few things.

Usually after i sterilize a small amount of water in a sterile shot glass...i scrape some of the print into the water...because the spores fall on the top of the water..you just lightly dip the sterile syringe into the water..and slowly suck up the top level of water from the shot glass..that will pull in ,..all the spores you scraped in the water...for further instructions... read the FAQ's
