like the title says.. im looking for good lions mane recipe's.
i dont just want to smother em in garlic and butter.

I dont realy like these to much. So I never tried to cook them often.
They have a bitter taste to them sort of like medicine. But I would maybe try them by boiling first then frying. I heard some one once say they taste like lobster. So try a lobster like recipe with them. But I dont see the similarity at all between Lions Mane and lobster. Maybe it has to do with the texture. When we eat them we just boil them and drink the tea.

I'm just bumping this thread because I have some Lion's Mane growing and I have no idea what to do with it after I harvest it.

If you saute them in butter or oil they are very similar to crab or lobster, not exactly the same taste or texture, but close enough. When I find them most of them don't make it into a recipe, they get eaten out of a pan after gently frying them.
