Some of us can philosophize AND work our asses off all day on twelve-hour shifts of extreme manual labor. It's sometimes referred to as 'multi-tasking' and it builds character faster than letting your ass turn to Jell-O in an easy chair.

... now get back to work!

--------------------
To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

you can work every waking hour and save or spend every dollar you earn, but youll never be happy without truth

and you can sit in an armchair looking for truth in the dusty books of dead men, and never even catch a glimpse of it

its just a matter of how you want to play the game
