I just got 70 wet grams mushies through the post. When i previously dosed on 35g it was pathetic - made me a little giggly but nothing else. The next time I dosed on around 50g. I saw a few distorted visions, but no trip as such (I posted it in the trip reports nonetheless).
Apparently weight isn't a factor? I'm confused - I've heard different things about this, and another supplier I'm thinking of trying out (I'm in England, I can get shrooms off the net legally  ) say that body weight DOES play some part in dosage.
Does anybody know for sure wether bodyweight makes a difference (baring in mind I'm around the 18 Stone mark) and has anyone else had a similar problem?
I know wet shrooms won't keep too good for long, I plan to ingest em all tonight when everyone else in the house is asleep... 70g. Is this wise? :P lol
I can hear cries of "70g when you've never tripped is never a good idea"... But this will be my 3rd time with shrooms from the same supplier... any feedback as ever will be very appreciated!

Well, if you were disapointed with the level 50g gave you, go for the 70. Assuming its the same variety you always get then I'm pretty sure you'll be safe. Also, how many pounds 18 stone? What a wacky measurement system

hello friend,
maybe you should change supplier! maybe this is the problem! if u eat shrooms from another sup[plier and u have the same problems then u should definitely dose more!

I've heard psilocybin dosage discussed in terms of mg/kg so bodyweight probably has some effect. Up the dose till you get what you're looking for. Better to start off too low and work up than too high.

while experimenting with dolphins, dr john lilly found that there was a relationship between trip intensity & dose size, body mass, brain mass, & body (spinal cord) length...

Do you take any medication?
Do you follow trip guides and not eat anything for at least a couple of hours prior to ingestion?
Have you tried other suppliers?
If fresh mushrooms are legal, why not just grow them yourself?
I'm positive they are ripping you off, whatever the price may be.

what KIND of mushrooms are you ordering? 70g's of fresh cubes seems like a lot to me. You might want to make sure that they aren't being overly abused/bruised or exposed to heat during shipping... but if you've experimented with the lower doses like you said, then your approach would seem logical

different ppl need different doses, a friend of a friend needs(no really) 21grams and I personally need at least 7gs dry of high quality shrooms for a medium trip

You guys are crazy!! All I need is a gram or two dry and I start to trip. I like to smoke a bowl before it starts kicking in, and if I'm able to, while I'm peaking.

Thats the same way I am...Ive never heard of eatin 7g dry to aquire a satisfied experience. I guess everyones different but even veteran shroomers here at the shroomery report that they only dose 3-4 grams for a good solid trip.

ya 70 grams fresh might be a heavy dose. Personally I would go for it. But It might not be the best Idea, with your, parents sleeping in the same house.

Being a dolphin on acid would be so cool.
I've tripped harder off 15 grams fresh than I have from 4-5 grams dried and 17 fresh another time.
You might be buying the duff shrooms in their collection, try changing variety if you have no luck with 70grams of your current batch.

umm....wet mushies in the post?
How much time did the shipping take??? if more than a day its pretty sick man your mushrooms are probably rotten...i once put wet mushies in a closed ziploc for like 2 days and they were certainly not ingestible ...
but if they were ok and they didnt loose potency or anything...well it may be that psilocybin is not for you...you ate 50g and just got light distortions well the dose youll have to eat to trip will probably make you sick...
