Aiming for bigger mushrooms; I like the shock value of them.

1. P. Galindoi finally pinning on day 14 in fruiting. About 20 or so pins so far. 2. What was suppose to be a wild Australian pan cyan print. Grew it out and it looks like pan cambo to me. Mutant but a new regular flush is coming in. Print was about 2.5 inches across from a giant wild cyan a friend found. 3-6. My oyster clone put to dowels in the forest by my house. Forgot about this log, this clone will grow dinner plate sized oysters in big clusters in under a week from pinning. They are surprisingly soft when they get that big, unlike my kings.

Probably crack one open soon, and let the others sit until I want more stones.
I haven't been going through my mushroom supply very quickly, even sharing liberally with friends, so they should be able to sit for a while. Probably start another half dozen or so soon as well.

Supposedly after 1 year they stop growing and just gain potency. If your gonna attempt to grow them for 2 years you need to do a very through sterilization job. I've read about people having their stones go bad after a year. I just pulled some from 2 year jars though.

You're right. Its still a somewhat cool/interesting experiment. No one has ever done anything like this on these boards that I've seen.

Nothing in there is ready to pick(aside from the open capped sterile non-PE looking fruits), it all else has a few days of growing left.

Right, that's what I was referring to being ready. I know you can wait longer with PE because they don't really drop spores, but there's still a bunch ready to be picked there, no?

I personally grab those ones around this time and leave the rest to get their classic wrinkle with a cap open. Is that bad/wrong?

The ones I circled do have the wrinkled stipe for the most part. Oh well, just preference.

So I came back home to this after being gone for 48hrs for work.
First ever attempt and first flush from a bulk grow. This is 1:1.5 CVG mini mono. No weight yet, ill update when they are dry.

I also have a question. Should I take all the leftover white stuff off? If so, how do I do it with out making my sub look like a bomb testing field? Or should I just dunk it like that?

Your gonna need to cut em down. I twist n pull instead of cutting, tearing a few divots in the sub is better than leaving stumps IMO. Stumps are trich food.
Great canopy tho
