cow manure compost and cobweb...sigh :(

Hey guys...I've checked out the pics with cobweb on them in Annos contam FAQ or whatever... and it looks slightly different than my buddys situation... this stuff seems to be growing slowly...like 3-4 days before he notices any growth... but it's a big patch and just keeps getting thicker... myc. dosen't grow like this correct?, it's just there, or it's not from what I've experienced...I'll try to get overthere to take some pics and post em...thanks guys

Can't say much from your description, looking forward to pics. Slow-growing is usually a good sign.

Well it's a bit too late... turned into cobweb :frown: Now my buddy is out everything he had... DAMNIT! HE"S PISSED...this tops off his wonderful 2nd experience of being unsuccessful... even bought a PC and shit still goes wrong

Use H2O2 (1.5%) to spray the surface of the casing after spawning. Don't open it for at least a week after spawning. Always mist the surface with the solution anytime you open your container. This will prevent mold spores from germinating.

Search for peroxide, hydrogen peroxide, or H2O2. This can help you to have success in less than sterile conditions.
