Need some help with casing
    #2259326 - 01/21/04 11:54 AM (13 years, 7 months ago)

I am looking for a great casing method to increase my yeilds from the normal vermiculate casings that I have done and also to produce more potent muchrooms. I had heard that using dung increases the potency of muchrooms quite a bit (is this true?) but have not been able to find any recipes for using dung in a casing that I like. I need some help from you guys with a good recipe for casing with dung. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Dung is not a casing material.
On casing, read the casing section in www.shroomery.org/faq

dung is a substrate that mycelium is spawned to before fruiting. A casing layer should be non-nutri and be something like coir, verm, etc.
