Yeah man, PESA put out some big ones. It was a clone of a clone that liked bottom pinning just as much as top.

Dmppb, this variety (golden halo) has had some strange behaving mycelium.

Yeah, I posted it in my journal yesterday. I spawned two more tubs of it for more prints.

Holy shit that botton- side pinning ! , how did fresh air get in there , maybe it's a second flush and the myc had shrunk a little bit ? , althoug i see a liner there , crazy ! ,
beautifull specimens by the way , may ask whats your substrate?
very good work

Thanks man. I didn't do much as I was out of town. I used sterilized CVG as my substrate.
This culture gives me either a solid pinset, or a few handfuls of big fruits. Here's the bottom of the sub in the tub next to it.

i've found that when leaving mushrooms alone you get the best results , hehe
Does the tub have a flat bottom or riged on some parts? i aks cus that could help the bottom pinning ,
CVG is the same i use , only difference is that i add hpoo smoothie and worm castings to the mix ,
and it's been a while since i got a pinset like that , i think my sub is lacking water , or something ,
did you case it?

You should flip that culture on it's side at full colonization. It's fun!

No casing. Thin top layer at spawning, and leveled off as well as I could.
One tub has indentions around the bottom edge, but the other one is smooth. I also didn't move these tubs cause I was trying to avoid the substrate Being stressed from the tub bowing on the bottom.

thanks check it out.
its that old print i had from 2003 that i was able to revive. i grew out a flush and cloned it. thats the clone. im hoping the pinset doesn't abort. it did on the multispore grow from the 2003 print. might have been the airflow method. i was trying a few things out at the time. as usual.
