trouble with cultivation

i was wondering if anyone could help me. ok , my jars only get about a quarter way full, and then the growth just quits. its the same thing with every jar. thanks for any help

Your jars are probably drying out, check the moisture content on your jars

And flip them over to let the carbon dioxide drain out. It's heavier than air. And it can sometimes inhibit growth. Are your holes taped? If so, I would take the tape off.

yes take off the tape and flip...are your jars in an incubator?

yeah i have them in an incubator set on about 86, but i dont have the holes in the lids. so if i just loosen the lids and flip the jars, it should be ok shouldnt it.

No holes? Did you remove the lid to inoculate?

Myc needs air xchange...loosen them lids!!!

air makes all the dif in the world.

check out polyfill or tyvec.

works better than a dry verm layer, and you can shake your jars to spread the myc. PF jars with tyvec or polyfill lids can colonize in a week if properly maintained and shaken.
