State of the Union Address
    #2257370 - 01/20/04 07:36 PM (20 years, 2 months ago)

Blah blah blah excuses blah blah lies blah blah everyone who isn't American is a threat blah blah Michael Jackson had my baby blah blah
I think that's what I heard.

Right, so...
*the ends justify the means
*who's a bully? SHADDUP!
*Bush plans on keeping the Patriot Act alive (though there was a round of applause when he said "the Patriot Act expires next year" - this is good)
*"America will never seek a permission slip to defend the security of our country" followed by cheering... it makes me ill. What's that old saying... it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. *vomits*

I'll end with Sabbath's "War Pigs":
Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerers of death?s construction
In the fields the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds, oh lord yeah!

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor

Time will tell on their power minds
Making war just for fun
Treating people just like pawns in chess
Wait ?till their judgement day comes, yeah!

Now in darkness, world stops turning
As the war machine keeps burning
No more war pigs of the power
Hand of God has sturck the hour
Day of judgement, God is calling
On their knees, the war pigs crawling
Begging mercy for their sins
Satan, laughing, spreads his wings
All right now!

He called for mandatory drug testing in schools and more law enforcement.

I wish I had a rifle and a clean shot,I'd blow his brains out. That is all...

I thought it was Bush's double, until he closed his speech notebook hitting the microphone, and then knocked over Cheney's glass spilling some liquid all over the place.

It really doesn't matter who's in charge as president but the ass-kissing was well above the normal level.

True, but he hasn't gotten any better at the actual content of his speaches.

I like Bush less than ever now. He will certainly not get my vote.

Bush is the south end of a north-bound donkey...

a blind donkey with a stick up it's ass.

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

There are simply no words for how much I hate that motherfucker.

I didn't think it was possible to hate him more than I already did, but all I had to do was watch the full state of the union address, and viola! Double the hate in just an hour! Efficient!

I need some valium or something.

it's best just to not watch such grotesqueries. you pretty much know ahead of time that it's just going to be lie after lie on top of bigger lies inside a gargantuan lie so why bother wasting the time.

To see how well the lies ar crafted and presented.

Clinton generally spoke the exact opposite of what he meant.

Bush is more of a misdirection kinda of a guy that sort of looks like and acts like tweedy bird from warner bros cartoons if you squint and imagine him in a little yellow suit.

I thought i thaw a terrorist i did, i did . He was in bagdad now heeths everywhere  :frown:. Help,,, help,,, oh help  :ooo:

"The president in particular is very much a figurehead - he weilds no real power whatsoever. He is apparently chosen by the government, but the qualities he is required to display are not those of leadership but those of finely judged outrage. For this reason the president is always a controversial choice, always an infuriating but fascinating character. His job is not to wield power but to draw attention away from it." -- Douglas Adams

Oh, that's true to be sure.

And don't get me wrong... I hate Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, etc. etc. etc. etc. at least as much as I hate Shrub. But last night, I just wanted to wipe that fucking smirk off his face with a belt sander.

Death to the PNAC!

Wow, you libbies HATE everyone. I'm not the #1 fan of Bush but to say that you HATE all these people is quite sad. I never once HATED Clinton, I hated what he stood for. ie: his philosophy.

I got in a fight with my dad during his speach, he was hanging on his every word and I felt so helpless that millions of people are listening to this numb nut. wish I could punch Bush in the back of the head.
