My first time tripping I developed an unrelenting emotional association with a song my friend was playing along with..

It was "Strung Out" by 3rd Strike.. if you happen to know the song, it was the really heavy version of the main riff, with the single harmonic at the end.

Anyway.. when he was playing it, I was sitting on his couch tripping my sack off, and I looked over at him and he was looking right at me with a look on his face that said to me "Know what I mean?" or "Do you understand?".. it's as if the riff is what he was trying to explain to me.

Only other thing I remember from that trip was when I looked around the room and my vision's framerate dropped dratiscally.. as if there was a strobe light going, only there wasn't. Then I noticed that whenever something moved I could see a tiny "grid" of squares.. like pixels.. forming the image I saw before me.

It rocked.

Sorry if I rambled much, I'm not entirely sober.
I am SO stoned.

Edit: it was almost as if, because the "framerate" had dropped, I had more time to analyze the individual frames, therefore picked up on the pixels.

-That's amazing. New Years Eve my boyfriend, my roommate and I were all tripped out on acid .. and we completely weirded out my dog. She's normally all up in everyone's face all the time .. it had been like 2 hours when I realized my dog was missing. I went on a hunt for her.. only to find her upstairs in my bathroom curled up in a ball in the corner under the toilet. Poor thing. I guess we were a little too tripped out for her to handle. Heh.

Maybe the doggy was afraid of fireworks and not you guys. My dog always freaks out on new years and the fourth.

My dog's so afraid of low loud booming noises that she has LITERALLY clawed and bitten a hole through my bedroom door FOUR TIMES because of it. (because she likes to hide in my room for some reason, and there was no one home to let her in during thunderstorms.)

I'm talking like, ripped a hole 2x2 ft right through the thing.. I was in complete disbelief the first time, much less disbelief the next three doors...

My first time was a revelation of an experience.  At first, drawings hung from the ceiling began to wave back and forth.  My entire visual sensory was distorted in every way possible.  My friends, who were also in the midst of the trip were wanting me to hunker down and watch a movie.  I had no intention to stand still and waste my time staring "into the screen of false hopes".  I declared my independence to the world and my comrades and literally....  Ran...  Off... 
  It didn't matter where, it didn't matter how far; all I wanted to do was go.  Lightning bugs were the most amazing things to look at during the whole trip.  Everywhere there was a blinking bright yellow light.  I grabbed one and named him Junior.  Me and junior ran to my old elementary school, the park, and everywhere else around.  In my mind, my inner self reminds me "it is not illegal to run freely.  No one can hold you down but yourself" Mind you I ran 6 years of cross country and track.  I then became exhausted and lied down. 
  After that, it felt as though my mind was slipping... slipping into the universe from which it came... it felt as though I was dying.  It was scary, and all-together life changing from that moment on.  My everyday life was put in perspective - my "priorities" criticized and questioned.  There is more than meets the eye.
