You can do one of two things. One, you can remove the cakes, extract all the perlite from the incubator, put the perlite into a pot and boil it for 30 minutes, strain it in a colonder, rehidrate it using a combination of water and Hydrogen Peroxide (.05% HP) and place it back into the incubator. Or two, extract all the perlite and replace it with fresh/W+HP soaked perlite.

Or you can just be lazy and spray it with 3% hydrogen peroxide (don't dilute it) and increase the air exchanges slightly... with perlite humidification I've noticed the cakes are pretty forgiving... at least that's my experience.
