Damn! I can't even compare to these photos. Am getting ready to go camping, but my area is very small and not so wild. It's all I have, and I was thinking of getting some kind of pics while there but....

I'd love to share each individually, but I spent a whole weekend taking the pics, and the next week deleting and editing thousands. Here's the best of those, but I feel like I still have trouble picking favorites.

The only place in the west that I've been is texas. Do you know a good place to pitch a tent? I may visit, if I know I'll have friends nearby.
Pitch a tent? Nonsense! You can come stay with me and my friends if ya like. But first you have to pass our cuteness test. Think you can charm a few sorority alums?

No sweat on the cuteness test, and I'll charm as many sorority alumns as you please.

I just spent the weekend out here with my best friend. We set up a nice camp and then munched some Cyans that I had harvested in November of last year. Needless to say, it was absolutely incredible. One of the most primal, beautiful experiences of my entire life. I highly recommend camping here if you live in the PNW. This batch of Cyans has given me a whole new respect for fungus, which is saying something! Easily the strongest boomers I've ever munched. Hope everyone is enjoying fall

Awesome pictures everyone!
It's been a while since I have been around these parts, and I miss it. My girlfriend and I made a trip out west to N. Cali and S. Oregon and then down the coast. The trip included catching crabs, watching helicopters pick up buckets of water 50 feet from us (crazy forest fires out there...), lots of wine, swimming in crater lake, absolutely grounded in the presence of the redwoods, and much more.
@saralove - I found one of those banana slugs as well in the redwoods. Didn't know what they were before so thanks for the ID!

Try and find me

Then a couple from our kayak camping trips the past month

There's a nature trail behind my house, found some freaky hand prints in the mud.

I think it's from a raccoon, there were others close by where you can see the claw marks. Just these ones look like a mutant baby had walked by on it's hands lol.
