Can't say for sure it's redboy cause of the vendor, but it throws out a good number of purplebrown prints, which is not something I'm aware of CRS or PFRS doing. If my redboys are redboys, they're some kind of mutant. They also throw out about 5-10% albinos.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."

The Golden Halo was sold on some sketchy site for $10,000 a print (yes, literally) and some guy on the shroomery fb group got his hands on some and sent some prints i think. i would have asked for one but didnt work out. Anyway so im guessing thats where all the GH are from. Interesting to know the kind of cross they actually are. Fucking 10k syringes, the audacity. but hey, you sell 1-2 and you can buy a car

Pretty sure that's just the price when they're out of syringes/prints. There was a thread specifically about The GH strain and people were saying a print was 35$ when in stock and it jumps to 10k when they run out.. Still 35 for a print is expensive

Had a thought while eating some broccoli:
Is there really any more scientific validity to the claim that different active mushroom species produce different trips than there is with cubensis strains? I think we've all heard the baeosistine explanation.
I wonder if the parameters for these oddball psychoactive chemicals are really any more fixed between species than they are within a single one. The genetics to produce these chemicals must go back to an ancient common ancestor, and one would expect that they haven't really been modified that heavily since. Perhaps we're talking unidentified chemicals here as well. How long have these different cubensis living in asia, africa, and the americas relative to how long ago they diverged from other psilocybes? Almost certainly there would be no phenotypic change to a cubensis from slight alterations in these genetic parameters.
Anyway, I'm not trying to make a statement. I just find it interesting that people are quick to bash cubensis of different geographic origins being different while being quick to affirm the difference between woodloves, pans, and cubes, and wonder if there is a good scientific explanation for this. There certainly seems to be a large bit of experiental evidence.
There probably hasn't been enough genetic analysis or chemical analysis done to say a great deal about this.

Sadly i think this type of research would require a decent amount of time and funding and since mushrooms are illegal it'd be very hard to find someone willing to fund the research. Until psychs are looked at (allowed to be looked at/researched without bias) by the scientific community stuff will probably remain speculation.

Someone needs to research some 4-ho-NMT HCL, as well as 4-po-nmt, and maybe 4-aco-nmt, and we really would have some answers as to how important the baeo compounds are. From "trip reports" i have read, seems to be just as active as psilo? (Strange then that it never caught on as its own thing, cant imagine the acetyl version would be particularly hard for labs to synth as a fumarate salt or something)

I'm not dismissing the possibilities of currently unknown actives or biological molecules with potentiating effects in various species, and in strains of cubensis as well. The effects IME are obvious and replicable and they stick with strains I've grown quite obviously; my trips with different species have been wildly different at times. Epigenetic markers are one possible explanation for such variation - mushrooms are adept at producing digestive enzymes depending on their food supply so it's not that much of a stretch to see them modifying these strange and apparently purposeless alkaloids that we love them to produce.

Its seems there are two "versions". But short answer, yes.
However one of these turns out alot like classic cubes. The other kind makes blobs that look like "Vag Envy"
