How long do you let ATL 7 go before harvesting? These are about a week from pin.

I treat them the same as cubes. Once they start dropping spores. Mine personally didn't drop spores so I just harvested them a few days after all the caps opened and wouldn't print or swab.

@YoshiTrainer - Mature Xico fruits. They're looking pretty unruly and no spore production at this point. I've got some work to do with this line, but so far looking pretty interesting!

I did some experimenting today as I was getting sick of cleaning the coir off my stones when spawning to bulk. 4qts (with sclerotia present) were spawned to 2 bricks of coir in an ez dial monotub and the entire substrate was packed tight. I let them go for 2 months until I started noticing a small patch of trich on one of the stones. I cut it off and proceeded to harvest the entirety of the tub. It ended up at 1625g wet. I then threw them all in a bowl and rinsed it with cold water while scrubbing the majority of the coir off. Then they went straight to the dehydrator. After about 48hrs the stones were bone dry and hard as a rock, but there was still quite a bit of coir left on the stones and they generally did not look appealing. I proceeded to brush off more coir until realization kicked in that I would spend the entire fucking day doing this, so I asked AI how I could speed this up without too much effort and to my surprise it spit out a method that actually worked;
"For truffles that are difficult to clean with a brush, you can try placing them in a container with a lid and adding a small amount of dry rice. Gently shake the container for a short period of time, allowing the rice to act as an abrasive and help remove the dry coco coir from the truffles."
I did just that (except the 'gently' part) for about 5 minutes and lo and behold, this is what I ended up with:

Looks a lot better doesn't it? I will be using this method from now on and spawning to bulk suddenly got a lot more appealing when going for stones.

So I've been very successful with ATL#7 stones, I've started with the "official" RR SGFC and I've got nice fruits going now...
Anything I can do to encourage spore production in my fruits? I getting lots of fruit but they don't seem to be producing "visible" spores
Any tips appreciated
Edit: improve question due to lack of response...

Is Tamp or Mex mycelium active? Obviously the stones are but what about the normal mycelium? I have a bag of Rancho grains that I might have to test some of.

Edit: I did not read carefully enough. The mycellium is NOT active. Only the stones and fruits. ___________________
Yes, and more potent than cubes.

Looking for some advice.
I noticed my ATL 7 plates look distinctly different from other mycellium I've grown. Does the ATL 7 plate(center) look normal, or am I just growing mold?

ATL#7 (and Mexicana in general) will have mycelium that looks quite different from Cubensis. Generally finer more tomentose looking and as it matures it will take on a more tan or rust color - often producing noticeable growth “rings”. Those plates look fine to me (but that isn’t Natalensis mycelium 🤣)
