I have a stone growing in bulk, last week it weighted was 59.7g
What is the best tek to clone this large of stone?

Here is a update one again the large tub has a full pin set while the small tub once again is much heavier around the perimeter. I think it has something to do with air exchange and O2 levels as I have a small tub of pans with the exact same design that has a full pen set, however it is receiving supplemental 02. So that would explain it except the fact That on the last grow after the first flush (well harvest has these don’t exactly flush) I placed the entire tub into my Martha without the lid and when they came back up they were still much more highly concentrated around the perimeter. It’s Definitely perplexing

I case once sub is visibly colonized, The only thing I do different with tamps and the lake or make my casing a little wetter than I would do for say pans they seem to like things a little more damp

Muh sclerotia on oats at a bit over 3 months after inoculation. Forgot how long they took to colonize fully. A month give or take. Still seemingly putting out new sclerotia judging from the color of some of them.
Is it just me, or do sclerotia take significantly longer than mushrooms to kick in? I've only done sclerotia that were as young as can be that formed in cased grains that failed to fruit, but they were huge doses, from 70g-140g fresh. Even after fasting, they take at least 2 hours for the full effects, even though the initial effects come on quickly at like 10 minutes.

Hey guys, hope your all having happy holidays. Thanks for some of the info you guys were giving out on these mushrooms. I think next time I will case when fully colonized, and they do seem to love the fae.
I got a pretty good flush and have a cluster I'm cloning tonight 
Theres a few , I got a little video that I took too, it not sure if I can post it.

Looking good! Tamps myc can somtimes take on a tan especially if it is a mono. Here is a tamp mono culture. Those bad boys are ready for bulk! I wouldn’t wait any longer unless your growing stones in ur spawn jars. I highly recommend going for the fruit tho😉

i rly was thinking about doing a shoebox with them. Any suggestions about the coir-verm? ( thin casinglayer?) or just like with cubes?

Keep ur sub thin around 2 inches

No fae during either incubation u can crack it once a day if you like but u don’t wanna dry out ur sub

Looks like sclerotia to me. I would do a G2G to fresh oats (if you wanted to) and then send the rest to bulk substrate and let the stones grow and wait a couple of weeks and start fruiting conditions. I have been able to get 400+ grams of stones and multiple flushes of fruits from 2 quarts jars combined with coir in about 4 months starting from the 1st inoculation.

Once I open up for G2G, I risk contamination, right? I won't be able to tend to fruiting well with my travels, also. So, stones seem easier as they are set and forget. As long as they are growing, I can just leave them for months to harvest.

If your sterile game inside your SAB is good, then no problem with openening these. If you have a flowhood even better.
