Hey all. Been lurking this site forever, just posted my first pics yesterday. Thought I'd share my super aggressive ATL#7 clone jar pic. I G2G from the master jar exactly 14 days ago and it's already forming large new stones. It was fully colonized 4 days after transfer. I've never had a more aggressive isolate, of any of my psilocybe or Panaeolus species. I did 3 more jars yesterday to see if it is truly that fast. If it still performs amazingly I'm going to do large spawnbags and innoc, and once 100% leave them in my storage unit for a year. And see what I get next winter for x-mad from myself. Lol.

EDIT: there is about 20%straw/manure/grass clippings in all my grain. So I eat stones out of manure too I guess. After I simmer my grain for 15mins I just add dry sharers I have to get the water content right. Performance was faster side by side with my pan cyan and galindoi isolates.

Love the thread concept OP, good shit. Loving those whoppers Nobler Hino. It was super hard G2G my master around the stones. Got few grains left to use and almost a jar full of just stones.

These are from a limited MS Psilocybe Galindoi from a vendor print. Haven't had to isolate ever as it fruits readily and with very many clusters. One has like 35+ fruits coming up in one spot with a huge stone forming below them.

Very impressed with the MS of these. Cloned 7 fruits all from different clusters to see what I can get. Makes tons of stones too in jars/when fruiting.

Stones from the sub after fruiting for a month or two are larger and more potent than the ones from 6month+ old jars. Loving fruiting the stone producers all around.

Mr. Fox those tamp are beautiful! You are truly the king of fruiting these babies. It gets so fucking annoying harvesting and printing these little guys you are right. I have like 4 trays and 4 Tupperware containers that will all put out at least 100 fruits over 2 flushes. PITA! But I'll be having an ATL #7 giveaway once I reach 90 posts.

Yeah they aren't mature. And I grow in a very low humidity environment when I do little ones at my house. Sometimes they are in a 106qt shotgun and sometimes open air. I'll post pictures of the small rounds when they mature. One was made by putting pasturized bulk onto an agar PP5 that I had transferred out of a few times. It's colonized and fruited very fast, I slurried the agar in open air.

After watching cronicr fruit open air with no problems it's been my MO for testing MS and clones of different species. I work from home besides friday&saturday night when I bartend punk shows, so I can stop and mist whenever necessary. Lack of humidity hasn't affected much besides fruit appearance if I let it dry too much.

I have so far done 4 species of panaeolus, all of my stone producers, and cubies once or twice open air. I always case the open air ones and soak the casing the first day I put it on and everything works like gravy. The galindoi will get very tall with nice sized caps by the end, easy enough to print.

All mushrooms love fresh air when proper moisture can be provided without humidity, well not all but all the actives I've tried like this.

Mr. Spadoodles,  :pm: me if you want and I can send you one once this flush matures. You don't have to wait for the give away if you want one that bad, I have plenty put away from the past couple months for that. I'll print you a fresh one whichever cap gets the biggest.

I may do that with my ATL#7 trays. Do a grow log thing like that. It's about time I made a grow log anyway. I freestyle everything so it's hard.

I do want to do one big giveaway though. I'd rather mail all in one week. I have like 300-400 random panaeolus prints(some from wild origin prints grow with limited MS), 200 P. Galindoi prints, and like 200 P. Mexicana. I have a couple hundred cubies too, but they were from my first few grows from wild Mississippi prints. Produced well but idk if I want to put 1st gen from wild limited MS plates out there to mix with the domesticated population.

I wanna give 2-3 prints per person depending. I should have enough for like 200+ people by the time I do it. Stocking up on prints now.

Going to send like 300 to the FSRE too when I get around to it. I got almost everything I have mycoloically freely given, traded/bartered, or gifted when my friend went to prison so I feel like I need to give back. Plus every time I trip I get tired of the selfish guilt pity feeling I get on occasion, I'd like to be a decent enough percent it doesn't happen enough to affect my trips that often, haha.

Yeah I feel like it should be done though. I couldn't ever possibly trade this many prints away and if I gave them away 1by1 it would take forever. I hate that almost all newer cultivators are directed to cubes only. I will do a separate giveaway for new cultivators only. Save like 100 or so prints, maybe make a thread a do a grow along with everybody who got one. We'll see. I have enough to work with to do a few things regardless.

I understand the reasoning but I feel like if you can figure out how to make a PF cake, then you can make Mac's pan cakes. And stone grows? What's easier than those! If I can get some prints circulating that spark interest in newer growers wanting to step up then I've done my job.

Hell they are free prints, why not experiment? They can be used plenty of times with agar. Plus with all the threads by people like stonesun & fantastic mr. Fox posting detailed grow logs, there is enough info out there to get success the first time around with things other than cubes.

I'm not saying cubes aren't where everybody should start, I just saying if the person has some grasp of the concepts of field capacity substrates and proper fruiting conditions then panaeolus and stone producers are easy to fruit. And if the kid just wants to get high and is an idiot about everything tell him to grow some stone producers, nothing easier for a high. Boil, PC, Cool, innoc, harvest.

Here's some pics from this morning. Like 12 hours after the others. Loving the willingness to cluster, can't wait to see my little forest grow.

EDIT: apparently wherever there is a big cluster there is a group of stones or a large stone underneath. Some mushrooms appear to be growing from the sides of stones? Haven't had this happen before, should make for great harvest pics a stone with mushrooms coming out the top... If I'm gentle enough. Haha

I use a sterile syringe to poke around and feel in the substrate/casing for stones sometimes. These are so contam resistant as well, if you pasturize a casing right they will fruit for months.

Numeroeno, that mini mono looks great. I love how fast atl#7 recovers/colonizes. Looks like it's going to be a great tub!

I use cactus mix(peat/perlite)&verm with calcium powder from oyster shells or lime from time to time. If I don't adjust the PH a bit the casings always get eaten, I've done just verm and perlite and it still colonized 75%. That's only if it's in the SGFC/humidity controlled room.

When I'm open air fruiting my casing doesn't get colonized because when I apply it I make it wetter than I would normally. By the 3rd day the moisture content is normal but I think it being too wet to colonize at first in addition to the less than 20% humidity prevent my casings being torn up.

These are the two open air containers of P.galindoi from on top of my dresser. Most others are in the sgfc. These two are where my clones coming along are from so I have a special interest in how they come out and like to see them all the time so they sit on my dresser.

Depending on how large fruit bodies from each cluster get will determine so set of plate to try first.
Pics 1,3,5 are the clusters I cloned from. #3 is a large cluster where it was hard to remove a single fruit without ripping them all out and the stones underneath. Hopefully can get more double digit fruit body clusters from it.

How often do you have to mist those open air trays?

I heavily most them when I get up at 6am, lightly mist at 10,1,5,&10. USUALLY.

But really it varies day to day. Sometimes I only get a chance to mist twice heavily morning and night if I'm busy.

On days I know I'm going a be around all day/building tables&bartops/carving out my burl bowls then I mist one light squeeze an hour if I'm really interested in whatever I'm growing and want to document any changes at all in them.

I have a climate controlled room, converted from a pot grow room, behind a false wood wall in the basement. I use no FCs at all in this room, just shelves with trays/vtek/pasty's invitro straw containers(all containers are lidless after casing applied in my case though)and large mono sized 4" tall trays on tables. There is a misting system that zig zags the ceiling and runs above everything on the tables/tops of shelves twice daily. I hand must the rest or extra if needed. Humidifier and heater in there. 74-84 day time temps, 64-70 night time depending.

My father is/was a great pot farmer/biologist type lumberjack dude. I explained to him what we needed to do and how I wanted it to happen. He had a great misting system already that just had to be added to.

I'm about 3months into a 6month build on a complete climate controlled room at my lab space. Will be made more for cold temperature species as an attempt to mass produce wood lover spores to guve away for everyone to spread. Everybody needs an outdoor bed.

Galindoi tearing their veils. I have high hopes for these getting really nice sized caps, they usually do when I full open air fruit them.

For some reason, yes. Like 11-16 days to pin after casing. I use print->agar->transfer of dirty->inoculate to grow stone producers about 99% of the time. So that probably has something to do with it. Besides my first tamp grow, which I got one measly fruit thanks to trich, my smaller containers generally have this many or more fruits.

Temps could also have some to do with these two as well. My room has been between 64-68 max the past 2 week for the lions mane in the corner.

I'm happy with it sure, I'm just hoping for a larger second flush to make up for the patchy first flush. There are about 20 new pins on each on while these are mature yet so I'll be picking fruits that start to spore up my bedroom day by day.

Tampanesis still maturing...

Those tamps are beautiful, seeing other tamps pics of yours awhile back inspired me to start some up. I just did some from rehydrated stones cloned to agar. Only took 1 transfer to get them clean after using the method cronicr used hydrating in diluted peroxide water.

The stones were like 3 years old, from my very first tamp grow. I was surprised I saw myc in under a week on agar, although I did hydrate them for 1.5weeks.

Thanks for the compliment Eat, I just love looking at these little guys. They are maturing slower than usual but I'm sure it's Just MS genetics. I can see through one container and it's all white and the other I flipped out of the container to check, it was all good too.

Here's some pics from this afternoon. I know bluing isn't scientifically associated with potency, but damn do these get a beautiful baby blue when I brush them. They turn very dark blue/black about 20mins after picking. Never had ATL blue as much as my panaeolus.

I was force to remove some small stones from the middle of the white cool whip container that were poking out preventing pinning. I like stones, but I love the fruits!
