So the ornge color of my plate is ok? that WAS after it was sitting it for a while.
I cut it up into little squares, then load the foil squares into my 1/2 pint jar, cover with foil && PC for 15 @15psi.
What are you using as a filter? I use Micropore tape. (1 layer inside, 1 layer outside)
Orange is normal with tampan mycelia as it begins to age progressively, but tht looks like metabs fighting contamination. If you look closely you can tell the mycelia it self isn't orange, it's secreting an orange liquid, which I presume to be metabolites. Since it's dark orange/yellow it's probably fighting contamination.

I asked what type of filter you use on your jars.
Guess it doesn't matter unless you PC your foil squares like I do. lol

I do it all the time, sometimes two weeks after pasteurizing. The casing should be non-nutritious anyway which makes it less prone to contamination..esp. seeing that it should be sealed/tied in a bag anyhow.
Some ppl refrigerate they're sub/casing after pasteurization if they plan on keeping it around for awhile. I've never had to, well atleast with casing material.

These are from a limited MS Psilocybe Galindoi from a vendor print. Haven't had to isolate ever as it fruits readily and with very many clusters. One has like 35+ fruits coming up in one spot with a huge stone forming below them.
Very impressed with the MS of these. Cloned 7 fruits all from different clusters to see what I can get. Makes tons of stones too in jars/when fruiting.
Stones from the sub after fruiting for a month or two are larger and more potent than the ones from 6month+ old jars. Loving fruiting the stone producers all around.
Mr. Fox those tamp are beautiful! You are truly the king of fruiting these babies. It gets so fucking annoying harvesting and printing these little guys you are right. I have like 4 trays and 4 Tupperware containers that will all put out at least 100 fruits over 2 flushes. PITA! But I'll be having an ATL #7 giveaway once I reach 90 posts.

I see you out here doin' your thing, Detroit! Respect! Keep us updated on those clones. I took two clones from my ATL#7 tray early last week. They look too good right now. Prob good enough to go onto some grains, but I'll give in another transfer before expanding onto grain/LC.
&& thank you. It'll probably be my last tampanesis tub for awhile..harvesting them is just far too tedious.

SalviaGod said: What are you guys using as a casing layer for these?
Iv been using peat/verm for my ATL#7 and they always seem to want to colonize the casing layer, and i dont mean it just pokes through in a few patches, i mean they eat the whole damn thing.
I still get a few fruits but not for a while, and i feel like this may be because they are trying to fruit from on top of the casing layer rather than underneath it.
I use Jiffy mix. But colonization of the casing layer shouldnt be a problem. Sometimes I forget my casings in incubation and the casing will be 80%-100% colonized. Still produces iust fine.
Here's an example from a couple nights ago.
